Given Up

Kanzaki had been going in the direction of the new gym he wanted to try before he stopped, looking up at an apartment building. The building in front of him was the building his previous girlfriend Fria had been living at. There were two apartments close to each other and from what she had told him she was in the left building on one of the floors.

He had gone there multiple times to visit her but it never worked out. Some days he brought flowers while some other days he brought different types of her favorite food. Despite all of this effort and time the result of the visit never changed and she never let him visit her.

Every time he would ask her and wonder why she wouldn't let him visit despite telling him where she lived she would reply that she was sick or that she was too busy to have guests. At first, Kanzaki thought this was a normal excuse and of course, backed off since he didn't want to give her a hard time about it.

However, after the 10th time that month being sick inside the apartment Kanzaki knew that she was avoiding him. The farthest that he had gone was going to the front desk person of the apartments and asking where Fria lived. When he asked this the person at the front had denied him at first saying it was their pride to keep their customer's information a secret.

That all changed when Kanzaki began telling the person about his experience and how he loved Fria very much. He would ask the front desk person every day for a few days before they finally gave in looking up her name. That would have been great to find out the exact door she lived at so he could go ask her why she was ignoring him in person but the person at the front desk said that had never had a person by that name.

This devastated Kanzaki at first making him think that the employee was lying to him and that they had been told by Fria to keep him away but now that he had time to think back on it he was sure they weren't lying and that the only person that had lied was Fria who lied about where she lived.

When Kanzaki thought about this he expected to be mad or even sad about the situation considering how much effort and time he put into the relationship giving every second of it his all to make sure that nothing went wrong but that wasn't the case. No tears came out of his eyes and he felt nothing inside him that was wanting to chase after her and say that she was wrong or he was sorry.

His mind had completely gotten over Fria and now no longer wanted anything to do with her. He would have been fine with staying friends with her if not for the fact that she ghosted him for so long. She expected him to act friendly again and there was no chance of that happening ever. Scars like that don't go away quickly and in his case, he didn't plan on letting them heal. There are many fish in the sea is what he kept telling himself.

After staring at the apartment for a few seconds longer Kanzaki turned around and kept walking deciding that from now on he would take a different route so he didn't have to look at that apartment anymore. Little did he know that the entire time he had spent trying to find her and visit her was viewed by Fria from across the street in the opposite apartment. All he had to do was go one building over and he would have been able to find Fria.

What would have happened if he found her? There's not a clear way to know but one thing for certain was that the relationship would not even be close to the same.

After Kanzaki left the apartment area he finally made it to the gym he had looked up online. Despite Kanzaki walking all the way over to the gym, he had no intention of working out since he had done that earlier in the day or to be exact in the morning

It was good to work out but at the same time you don't want to overload your muscles or you might end up injuring them or at least that's what Kanzaki read online and had been told by many people.

The gym that Kanzaki found was one of the larger ones in the city but also not the largest he had seen online since he didn't want to have to deal with too many people. Kanzaki may not be bad at social interaction but at the same time, he wasn't going to force himself into any situation he didn't have to be in.

After walking a little bit longer Kanzaki arrived at the larger gym which had a big sign at the front that said 'Zach's Gym' it was a large neon sign that Kanzaki thought was really cool.

When Kanzaki entered the building he was immediately hit with the smell of sweat that left much to be desired considering sweat was not the most pleasant thing to smell in the world. Despite that Kanzaki was more focused on the fact that the gym he had entered had everything he could ever imagine. There were enough machines and bars for pro bodybuilders to get where they need to be.

It was an amazing thing that left Kanzaki in shock before he went over to the desk and signed up for the membership. He planned on being there the next day since it had impressed him so much.

After Kanzaki had signed up for the gym he began thinking about a possible person that he was going to invite with him. He liked them a lot and thought it could be a fun experience if it worked out but he planned on asking them in the morning since he was so tired.

Mask
Witch: 74,883 Followers
Tweeter: 72,007 Followers
