God, Again? A Single Player Quest?

Have you ever experienced seeing a God beg for you to make a wish to him?

Eh, I haven't either. But I did met a God asking me to make a wish in the name of compensation.

I wonder what a God like that would look like. I'm curious.

When I checked my phone, I couldn't help but be extremely pumped up and excited.

"Finally, FANTASY!"

Thankfully, Miu is on the game and didn't hear my excited shouts. The reason why I was so excited in the first place was because I didn't think my fantasy dream would become a reality so fast.

Thankfully, I geared up before this quest came. And by gear up, I meant buying new things from the shop.

Looking at the message on the [Group Chat], I had a hard time containing my excitement.

Seeing the system's message, I understood that I need to go now.

After saying my farewell to my friends, I quickly took my luggage from my room in a flash before pointing my smartphone at the door of my room once again.

What? I'm in a hurry so wherever I point it is irrelevant.

"*inhale*… Phew… I got this…"

I bravely walked towards the door with my hand firmly holding on my luggage.

(Shun's POV)

When I came to, I realized that I'm in a place like space, with the scenery filled with a literal sea of stars. Since I don't know which place this is, I quickly used my [Transformation] special skill and transformed into my character in [NWO].

This character have not learned anything special as of yet and I just focused on upgrading the skills I had already and leveling them up. [Ninjutsu] and [Sword Mastery] are one of the skills that leveled up.

"Hey. There's no need to enter that transformation of yours, is there? Mr. Shun Shirokami?"

Someone I didn't know was calling out my name, and before I knew it, I was faced with someone that could only be described as a human-shaped light. There were no floor, fantasy monsters—heck, even the ground were all gone. This place is just a star-dotted vacuum that looked a lot like space.

After making sure that I could breathe properly, I focused my gaze at the 'individual(?)' in front of me. This floaty sensation I am feeling while in this space is really throwing my sense of balance off by a bit.

For a second I wondered if I had been kidnapped, but after seeing my surroundings, I assumed that it is not the case. This current cycle of events literally gave me the feeling of déjà vu.

"God? Oh, you're all sparkly so I'm assuming that you're the God of Light or something?"

"Haha… That certainly is who I am."

"So? Why am I here? If I remember correctly, I'm not supposed to be here."

The God of Light(?) seemingly stroked his jaw(?) while emitting a sound like "Hmmm…".

Oh, lights could do that? That's news to me.

As expected of fantasy. It's really bizarre.

"…Well, I'm about to talk about that, actually. First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize to you. I didn't expect that a summoning would pull one of the World God's and One Above All's Apostles here. I really really am sorry for this…"

*thud*

The God of Light prostrated himself in front of me as he apologized. Hey, I now know why this felt so familiar to me.

It's because this is what happened to my past self!

Wait. Did he just say apostle? Who?

Never mind, I don't know the context of what he is saying. Anyway, the reason why I'm here is that, right?

You know? It's that Hero Summoning thingy where the people would ask for your help in killing the Demon Lord or something.

"So? Am I here to kill the Demon Lord or something? If that's the case, I'm not gonna do something like that."

I can't do my quest if I'm obligated to do something like that, after all.

"Oh, fret not. You're not going to do anything like that. Actually, I'm a God who is under the two I just mentioned. Since I troubled one of their apostles, I want to compensate you for that."

Let's ignore the fact that he murmured something like, "And I don't want to be punished for doing this…".

"Compensation?"

"Yes, compensation."

Uhh… What compensation do I want? To be honest, since I could pretty much receive any cheat I want through the [Dimensional Group Chat] when given enough time, I don't really have anything in mind.

Oh, maybe this is something I'll need.

"Please upgrade my [Language Comprehension] and include all of the languages of this world of yours. Is that alright?"

"I could do that. However, that's just the bonus I give to all of the heroes that gets summoned. Except for including all of the languages but, you get the point."

"Eh? Then, can you teleport me to a dungeon with a Dungeon Core without a master?"

With this, I'll have an easier time completing my quest.

"Granted. Is that all that you want? Do you not need anything more?"

Hey, don't continuously whisper, "I don't want to get punished so please say some notable wishes I could grant…". I can here you.

What to do? This is really quite troubling.

It's like this God is begging me to say a wish that he could grant…
