Child of Autumn

Makoto Takahashi is a normal citizen of Japan. After a dinner gathering with his coworkers, Makoto drives home drunk and ultimately crashes and dies. He then finds himself reborn in a world of fantasy as a white haired autumn eyed newborn named Aki Suteo. A certain prophecy was held five years before his rebirth and now binds him to the destiny of saving the world. Only sheer persistence and hard work will help him survive and keep humanity safe. Follow him on his journey to power! This is an original story. The characters names and backgrounds have Japanese characteristics because I love the culture and language of Japan! This may seem like it will be a cliche isekai, but trust me I will twist many aspects and plot points to make it as original as possible. This is a story that involves a lot of hard work from the mc and is not an immediate op trope. he starts with beneficial abnormality, and then works hard with a system to become powerful enough to save the world. Please give it a try! Ps. this story is created just to satisfy what Ive been looking for in fantasy books for a long time. (Like my ideal isekai story) If you do not like the story or how things are going you can give me feedback, but do not post any hateful or hostile comments. If you’re uninterested just leave, and if you like it give me some motivation in the comments. Thank you for trying out this story! Enjoy! Credits: 1.) picrew.me for the character on the cover 2.)Canva for the cover design 3.)the user “Glitch” for creating the story along with me

Tales of the Mantequero

Jenny Twist was born in York and brought up in the West Yorkshire mill town of Heckmondwike, the eldest grandchild of a huge extended family. She left school at fifteen and went to work in an asbestos factory. After working in various jobs, including bacon-packer and escapologist’s assistant (she was The Lovely Tanya), she returned to full-time education and did a BA in history, at Manchester and post-graduate studies at Oxford. She stayed in Oxford working as a recruitment consultant for many years and it was there that she met and married her husband, Vic. In 2001 they retired and moved to Southern Spain where they live with their rather eccentric dogs and cat. Besides writing, she enjoys reading, knitting and attempting to do fiendishly difficult logic puzzles. In July 2018 she won the Author Show TOP FEMALE AUTHOR Fantasy/Horror/Paranormal/Science Fiction award. . . .In the south of Spain at the beginning of the twentieth century, village people still believed in this particular fabulous beast. Sometimes they called it a mantequero, and sometimes a sacamantecas; it was a monster which looked like a man, but which lived in wild places and fed on human manteca or fat . . . Some people still do . . . This book is a compilation of the three Mantequero stories: Mantequero, Disappeared and Sins of the Father; with the addition of two new stories: The First Mantequero and The Last Mantequero.
