Once again, Isaac trembled as he tried to reload the last shell into the shotgun. The mutated zombie behind Jeremiah was kindly giving him time to do it, almost like a cat playing with a mouse. It was like it wanted to offer him some sort of hope before ruthlessly tearing it away.
I couldn't help but approve of its methods. Me, though, I think I would go for the quick and easy kill. There was no point in dragging it out and losing your prey in the process.
Everyone was staring at Isaac and Jeremiah to the point that I think I was the only one to realize that the zombie from the window was now inside the room, sticking to the shadows so that no one else could notice it. Using Envy's vision, I turned my head to stare at it.
'Can I talk to it?' I asked Envy, cocking my head to the side as it, too, stared at Isaac like it was watching a show.
