Bakugan: Partner from the Doom Dimension

I walk home from school while humming a song to myself. I was happy because I was I

in the world of my dreams. It had just let out for the day and I was stoked because I could finally relax for a bit.

'Who to use? Who to use?' I think as I walk. 'I'm using Darkus today so I guess I'll use a few of my favorites.'

Once I get home I rush upstairs and go to my room. Once inside I go to my desk and open a small purple box that was on top of it. Inside were a bunch of black and purple marble-like objects.

"I do want a good amount of G-power going into this thing," I say to myself. "I know I want Siege, Robotallion, but whose gonna be my last Bakugan... how about you!"

I pick up three of the objects and put them in a holder on my waist and leave out the house. I guess this is as good of time as any to tell you about these things. You see a few months ago, a bunch of cards started raining down from the sky so like responsible citizens us kids started a game with them. Once the game started it was like the world was put on pause and a bright light shone. The cards then revealed these marble-like objects which landed onto the other cards and revealed giant monsters which we decided to call Bakugan.

However originally I wasn't from this world, in the world I came from Bakugan was only a show that came on in the early 2000's. I was a major fan; I had the toys, the games, the shirt, the puzzles, and the entire series on DVD. One day the channel that aired Bakugan came out with a reboot, I watched the first episode and absolutely hated it. I liked the design of the Bakugan but I didn't like the story. But the next day, I woke up in this world younger with no parents. Luckily I knew how to cook and with some research I found out I was the adopted older brother of one of the main characters who happen to be very rich so I lived in a very comfortable house. Also I was in the perfect place cause two more protagonist lived nearby, I was quickly invited to become a Battle Brawler and obviously accepted it. With my skills as a brawler I reached rank 107 on the world ranking list.

Anyway I head to the park to look for someone to brawl against. I see a girl around my age with black hair tossing up a red and orange Bakugan so I walk up to her.

"Wanna brawl?" I ask her while thinking. 'She's rank 99 so if I beat her my rank should go up.'

"Really? Brawl me? Your too weak to even think about it loser," The girl says. "You do know Pyrus is strong against Darkus right?"

"Don't be like that cutie," I say to her with a wink. "Besides what I'm capable of might surprise you." (Fun fact: I get really flirty when I use Darkus for some reason.)

"Fine, it's you funeral," The girl tells me as she gets out a card.

"That's what you think," I say as I do the same. "Just don't ruin your beautiful face with tears if I win."

"Whatever," The girl says while rolling her eyes.

"Field open," We simultaneously say and a white light surrounds us.

When the light goes down we're both standing on a white platform with six different colored swirls of light in the color of each attribute in the background.

"Gate card set!" We both shout both throwing down a card closer to one another.

"Ladies first," I say to her.

"Your loss, idiot," The girl says in arrogance as she throws a red and orange Bakugan onto her gate card. "Bakugan brawl, Bakugan stand, go pyrus Serpeniod."

A red light surrounds the Bakugan and a long red and gold snake-like creature with a stinger on it's tail appears in it's place.

"Pyrus Serpeniod 250Gs," A robotic female voice says.

'My turn now and I want to extend the playing field first,' I think to myself as I throw another gate card beneath my first one and besides hers. "Gate card set."

I pull out my Robotallion and throw it onto the gate card her Serpeniod is on.

"Bakugan brawl, Bakugan stand," I yell. 'From her personality the gate card has to increase the g-power of her Pyrus Bakugan so I'm going to have to cancel the effect.'

A purple light surrounds my Bakugan and soon in it's place was a purble and black robot-like creature.

"Darkus Robotallion 400Gs" The voice says.

"Hah, you fell for it," The girl shouts. "Gate card open! Pyrus Normal!"

"Pyrus Serpeniod g-power raised to 350Gs," The voice says.

"And that's not all!" The girl shouts. "Ability card activate, Fire Judge!"

"Pyrus Serpeniod g-power raised to 450Gs," The voice says.

"Cute, Ability card activate," I say with a calm tone. "Shadow Scratch."

"Pyrus Serpeniod g-power dropped to 350Gs," The voice says.

"Get em, Robotallion," I say as my Robotallian who was previously being squeezed by Serpeniod breaks out and blasts it with its canons.

I smile as I catch my Bakugan in my hand as hers lands at her feet.

"It's not over yet," The girl tells me. "Bakugan brawl, Bakugan stand!"

A Bakugan with the head, wings, and legs of a falcon stood before me on the first gate card I threw out.

"Pyrus Falconeer 350Gs," The computer's voice tells me.

"You're right," I tell her. "I need one more to win."

"You haven't won this round yet," She informs me.

"Actually I have, Bakugan brawl!" I throw out my next Bakugan, my Darkus Siege on my other gate card. "Bakugan Stand!"

Darkus Siege was a knight in purple armor with a staff.

"Darkus Siege 520Gs," The computer's voice lets us know.

"Why didn't you land on the same gate card as my Falconeer?" The girl asks me.

"It's a SE-CR-ET," I let her know. "Besides I want to keep seeing your pretty face as long as possible."

"Shut up!" The girl yells at me with a slight blush. "Bakugan brawl...Bakugan stand!"

A red and orange humanoid like dinosaur creature stood on the same card as my Siege.

"Pyrus Saurus 380Gs."

"Gate Card open!" I shout out. "Joker's Wild."

My Darkus Siege returns to my hand and her Pyrus Saurus lands at her feet.

"W-w-what happened?" She asks me.

"My gate card Joker's Wild immediately allows a Darkus attribute Bakugan to win the battle," I inform her. "So again one more card for me to win."

I grab my last Bakugan, a Darkus Laserman and throw it onto the same card as the girl's last Bakugan.

"Bakugan brawl... Bakugan stand!" I call out my Laserman becomes a giant robotic Bakugan with two canons on it's shoulders. "Gate Card Open! Final Judgment!"

"Darkus Laserman 390Gs" The voice says. "Pyrus Falconeer g-power dropped to 0Gs"

"Not yet, Ability card activate!" The girl yells. "Backfire!"

"Pyrus Falconeer g-power raised to 350Gs."

"Close but not enough, Ability card activate!" I yell. "Darkus Gravity!"

I pull out my Darkus Siege and throw it into the battle.

"Darkus Siege 520Gs."

"So what I still have this, Ability card activate!" The girl calls out. "Fire Tornado!"

"Darkus Laserman g-power dropped to 290Gs, Darkus Siege g-power dropped to 420Gs, Pyrus Falconeer g-power raised to 550Gs."

Her Falconeer starts dive bombing my Bakugan because of the increase in strength.

"Finally, you're putting up a little fight," I say to her in a mocking tone. "Well it's all for nothing, Ability card activate: Ability Counter!"

"Darkus Laserman g-power raised to 390Gs, Darkus Siege g-power raised to 520Gs, Pyrus Falconeer g-power dropped to 350Gs."

The tables immediately turned causing Falconeer to get blasted with Laserman's canons, falls out the sky, and gets beaten by my Seige.

"That's game," I say catching my Bakugan as the light that brought us to the field surrounded again to bring us back to the real world. "Thanks for the brawl, maybe next time we could go on a date?"

"S-shut up!" The girl yells with her face nuclear red while running away from me.

'That was fun, wonder what's going to happen tomorrow,' I think as I walk home smiling while holding my Siege up to the sun. "And I wonder what attribute should I use tomorrow."
