Chapter 1-The Dream Team

"FUCK!" He screamed into his mic as the tingling from the electric shock began to rapidly come and go as his in-game character took the wither effect. Dream had given up long ago on trying not to curse in this stream. Every last bit of his content couldn't be child-friendly, could it? His fans would have to deal with it for today. A headache was already starting to settle in from the number of shocks he'd taken.

He wondered for a split second whether he'd be able to get on the flight tomorrow if it was this bad, and in that split second, he got withered again.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH NO! YOU MOTHERFUCKER! FUCK!" Yeah, his headache was definitely getting worse.

Just as he thought he got to a safe spot, a blaze knocked him right off.

Right into the nether's endless lava-pool.

Dream could hear George and Sap's excited giggles from his headphones. He exited the game. "AHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! NO. I AM NOT LOGGING BACK IN THERE. I AM NOT LOGGING BACK IN."

The other two members of the dream team were laughing their asses off and he was suddenly glad they couldn't see the extremely flushed expression on his face.

The chat was going crazy with 'LMAO's and 'F's. A few people here and there were actually worried about whether Dream was okay. He honestly felt like just muting his mic and sobbing for 10 minutes. "Dreeeeeeeeeeeam." He could hear Geoge, over Sapnap's laughs.

"Is there any way to do this?"

"Nooo Dream, you'll have to die and start all over!" Sapnap said as Geoge started laughing all over again.

That's when Dream got an idea.

"There is actually." He said, even though he wasn't sure the other two could hear him over their convulsive laughter. He knew that a player was immune to damage for about 5 seconds right after logging in. If he took no damage, he shouldn't be shocked either, right?

So he logged in, got planks into his Hotbar, logged out, logged back in, got to the bottom of the pool, logged out. By this time, George and Sap had started realizing that he wasn't just going to let himself die.

If this was a normal situation, Dream would have been laughing right back at them, but his concentration was entirely on the screen before him. Come on, come on.

"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!"

"Oh my god, this is not fair" George was laughing as he said it. Dream wanted to laugh along too, but he was a bit worried about the situation at hand. He was planning on surprising George by showing up at his house tomorrow. Or maybe just the airport, but...Somewhere in Brighton, you get the point. The problem was, it was going to be an extremely long journey, and with the headache he was getting, he wasn't sure he'd be able to do it.

Dream supposed the best he could do was just try to not get shocked anymore, which was his objective with or without the flight. The rest of it went smoothly. He did get shocked a few times, but as soon as he was out of the nether, Dream wanted to scream in joy.

By the time he beat the dragon, he was tired, in pain, and voiceless. Dream wasn't really in the mood, but he talked to Sap and George once the stream ended. Sap already knew he was going to Brighton the next day, so both of them were extremely careful not to give away any hints to Dream's flight while they talked. They said their goodbyes as Dream checked the time. It was 7:00 PM. He'd been streaming almost since 12. He groaned and stretched and he got up.

Dream made himself some early dinner. He'd have to go to bed early today if he wanted to be fresh for George. His head was still pounding badly. He winced and gently rubbed it with one hand. He might have to take meds with him tomorrow.

His bags were all packed, all he had to do was wake up and leave. His neighbor, Samantha had agreed to take care of Patches too, so he didn't have anything to worry about. He'd tell George he was coming right before he got on board and Dream was grinning already, thinking about his reaction.

He didn't have much else to do, so he just changed and went straight to bed, a small smile on his face for tomorrow's adventures.
