Pharaoh's Transmigrated lover

"Please do it, I beg for the existence of Egypt and to end their sufferings from Nubians". "I'm ready to produce an heir for the sake of Egypt". "A single heir won't do it. You have to produce numerous heirs for a worthy pharaoh". "What will I get in return for it" "Whatever you ask for" "Freedom" "It's a deal. You're free to take your own decisions to travel in past or stay in future". "But what if I died while giving birth?" "You're a blessing to every resident of Egypt. As stated by the Goddess of Death, you will regain your virginity and dignity after passing through fire". "I will be glad to help your people also terminate slavery by Nubians. As far as I know, Nubians are ruling Egypt after Narmer's death and due to the absence of an heir they easily conquered it. Maybe Pharaoh Narmer was infertile". "No, it's all because of the goddess who cursed our country. But why do you want to end your life?" "It's none of your business and how can you be so assured that I'm the one who has to perform this task". "You have the eye of Horus in your left hand and the same facial features as defined by the goddess of death. We must kill the culprit who dared you to reach into such exempt of suicide". "You are the pharaoh's bodyguard, not mine. I am just a mere servant, who's bound to produce heirs for your people's freedom. So, that's why after innumerable attempts it never disappeared. How will I get transported to the past and present?" "Every time you stab this magical dagger, you will be transported to the past and for coming back to the present stab it twice and because of the curse, every pharaoh will be attracted towards you do make sure to at least produce a single heir while travelling back to the future though it's not compulsory but an advise." ______ A historical fiction solely based on my imagination. To support my first novel I assure my readers they will never get disappointed after going through the romanticized and dark mysteries of Egypt in every chappy. Cover is mine Made by:- Tejaswini

The traditional lifestyle of a clan in Biafra land

BEHOLD THE CHARACTER OF ONE OF THE MASQUERADES OF "OWU- ORINUSUNU" POPULARLY CALLED AJIGBODO (OWU- EZE). The Ajigbodo, popularly known as Owu-Eze, is one of the most fearful masks that displays its acrobatic performance on the grand finale of the "owu-orinusunu", popularly known as "owu-chachachai" by the good people of Rumuji in Emohua L.G.A., of Rivers State, South-South, Nigeria. The masque performs its skills using a cane to scare people away and a bell to announce its arrival to the dancing stage. As the name implies, owu-eze, meaning the supreme masquerade. The masquerade is usually covered by an umbrella (nfomini) which prevents rain or sun rays from touching the masquerader. It takes the masquerade three good hours before it completes its performance. The marine mask is so ugly that pregnant and expectant mothers hide their faces, as well as shattering fresh eggs on the horrible cloak, entreating them not to inhibit their wombs that their babies at birth may not mimic the face of the ugly mask. On hearing the name, and the chorus of the ajigbodo, there comes an unprecedented wind, people, old and young, male and female youngsters start falling on the ground because they may have been possessed by the marine spirit which accompanied the ugly masquerade, ajigbodo. Note that the "black and white" photograph was captured at Rumuji community in the 1930s while the other was taken at the same place were the former was captured, at Mgbuoda playground (Ama-oregbu), Rumuji Odegnu on the 27th June, 2021. It might also interest you to know that this ancient masquerade was introduced by Ohna Eluke Ovu-ordu of Rumu-Ewhezzaa in the 18th century, as this ancient culture is very much alive till today. More of these are seen in a history book titled "A Compendium of the History, Origin, Culture and Tradition of Odegnu Kingdom." Red Rex
