Seeker of Reality

Living his life while asking himself, "What is reality and how is it formed?" Our protagonist is driven mad from the question, desiring to seek the truth of reality. Dedicating himself to science, majoring in neurology, mathematics, computer science, and quantum physics with the goal of finding out what reality is. Many called him a mad scientists and eventually executed on death-row for human experimentation that lead to the death of a family of five. Floating in the void of nothingness after breaking off from the cycle of reincarnation, his madness turns into apathetic due to the void robbing him of his emotions. Meeting the Creator of All Things, his fate changes due to six Primordial Laws who desires to be apart of him to understand and used by him. Will his goal of finding the truth of reality be fruitful? If so, will he accept that reality or find it disappointing? Author's Note: This would be my new project and something that I want to put a lot of effort into even if it were to take 3 days for a single chapter. I won't do any weird appearances and shit like I did with my last project. The only thing that people might find weird is me taking the Marvel Cinematic Universe(I'm basing information off the wiki from there.) and inserting other marvel elements from movies. Most of my time currently will be spent watching Marvel movies and blending them into my own Marvel Universe. I'll call it MBU, short for Marvel Badfic Universe; cringy I know. I'm not going to waste time thinking of a name for a universe that won't be mentioned in the novel itself.

The American Political Tradition: And the Men Who Made it The American

The American Political Tradition is a 1948 book by Richard Hofstadter, an account on the ideology of previous U.S. presidents and other political figures. The full title is The American Political Tradition and the Men Who Made It. Hofstadter's introduction proposes that the major political traditions in the United States, despite contentious battles, have all ...shared a belief in the rights of property, the philosophy of economic individualism, the value of competition... [T]hey have accepted the economic virtues of a capitalist culture as necessary qualities of man. While many accounts have made political conflict central, the author proposes that a common ideology of "self-help, free enterprise, competition, and beneficent cupidity" has guided the Republic since its inception. Through analyses of the ruling class in the U.S., Hofstadter argues that this consensus is the hallmark of political life in the U.S. Part of Hofstadter's project is to undermine the democratic credentials of politicians mythologized by historians, calling for reflection rather than nostalgia. Thomas Jefferson is presented in all his ambiguities, the agrarian radical whose "laissez-faire became the political economy of the most conservative thinkers in the country". Likewise, Andrew Jackson's democracy was also "a phase in the expansion of liberated capitalism", and Progressive trustbuster Theodore Roosevelt, though he "despised the rich", was at heart a conservative frightened by "any sign of organized power among the people". Even Franklin D. Roosevelt's New Deal — an amalgam of "improvised" programs — was "far from being intrinsically progressive, [easily] capable of being adapted to very conservative purposes". But nonetheless, had "revived American liberalism".
