University, and a though opponent

As soon as Cole gets out of his door , while carrying his backpack , he sees exactly what he expects , people running for their lives so far away , building , cars and even people crushed , zombies and mutated animals everywhere , he gets into stance and start running towards his university , usually it will take a 30 min walk but he's now running , not to mention his agility has increased a lot now that he has 19 points in it , on his way , he encounters multiple zombies , but he got his sword poised and ready to swing , every time he passes by a zombie , he swiftly cuts off his head , while paying attention if anything drops.

he kept clearing his way, while also getting used to his new strength as a martial artist , it surely didnt take him long enough . he also notices the changes in the notices he got .

" so i stopped getting extra stat points huh, but corpse eaters hmm "Cole smiled bitterly.

" so there are different kinds of zombies huh , but i have to say corpse eater are extra disgusting to me , no matter , i dont mind the extra exp points , not to mention i reached level 10 , and looks like i cant get a drop even after killing more then 20 of those creatures ,i should keep going "Cole contemplate ,and starts running again after swinging his sword to clean the disgusting blood off .

he soon could see the university ,from afar, and just like he expected more or less , some people were in groups trying to fight,

trying is the keyword here , they were all bloodied while fighting 4 fist sized bees , some even have lethal wounds , which denied his theory about animal scratching can turn , on the other side he can see some just running away from zombies , even sacrificing some people on the way , but his bigger focus was on the small group of 5 student , 2 girls and 2 guys , and one grown looking man , he recognize two of them , his martial arts instructor ,allen a black haired , heterochromic eyes , muscular man in his late thirties , and his sparring partner most of the time layla a sliver haired , silver eyes , gorgeous looking girl , but don't let her look fool you , she may seem defenseless, but this girl has always been able to give Cole a run for his money during the spars , even though she only managed to win 3 times during the hundred or so spars , but those wins were recent , meaning she only kept getting better , and that explained why only the two of them seemed to be able to hold on and fill in the gaps for the other 3 , resulting in the team barely keeping up ,they were fending off multiple zombies , and some mutated insects , while trying to establish some order between the survivors . As Cole wanted to dash to help them , his instincts warn him, so he immediately focuses on his surroundings , he looks around but doesnt find anything , but soon he notices something , as the creatures were fighting humans , and each other , the stronger devours the weaker , Cole notices that something that seems invisible keeps killing , humans and monsters alike , but he knows it's not invisible , it's just extremely fast , his eyes can't even follow it 

" this is bad news , i can't even see it , the good thing is , it's quite far from the group i wants to help " Cole realizes he can't save everyone , and he doesn't want to either , he believes that in this environment , only the useful and capable would survive . so he stops thinking about it and dashes to the group , he'll leaves dealing with that monster till after helping the group

On the other side

''Instructor it's getting harder to fill in the gaps , they are endless , not to mention we're not getting much help" Layla comments while using what seems to be an ice sword to kill the zombies and insects , her swordsmanship looks so graceful that even enemies might be charmed by her .

"I know Layla , but it's not like we have a choice here , i wish the little bastard was here , at least we'll have some breating room , with his skills ,i know he's alright " allen responds

"Cole..."

"yes Cole , the kid is probably the only guy who-"

" no instructor , i see Cole running here"

"huh?"

Cole swiftly Comes around utilizing his warrior sword and skills , helping where he can , filling the gaps in the defense , killing zombies and insects left and right 

" hey you two , i see you're having a hard time " Cole comments 

" Cole , you're lat-" Layla was about to say 

" focus Layla leave the chitchat after we clear the perimeter " Cole responds after killing the mutated insect that was closing in on her .

" he's right Layla , with him here things will get easier , we should take this chance to kill as much as we can and rally the survivors toward a safe place , you took your time kid" Allen comments while making quick work of the monsters

" sorry about that , i had to deal with a ton of these on my way here , but we need to hurry , there is a very swift monster around , i cant even see it , so keep your gards up even if we finish them " Cole respons

"Understood " " got it" Layla and Allen say

the other three students , can't even focus on the conversating with how hard they are having it fighting , with Cole here , the group starts to advance , killing zombies and insects , finishing them off quickly , having sparred against each other numerous times , their teamwork is great , after finishing the group that's fighting them the three of them look at each other with nods of understanding and Allen orders

" you three behind , take a minute to breath and follow after us , we're going to try to save who we can "

" huff , huff , yes sir" the three of them respond

"instructor , we should help those on the way to the canteen this way we can make a clear way for the survivors , if we managed to get there , we can-" Cole tries to make a plan but then his instincts feels danger coming " WATCH OUT" he shouts and tries to get allen out of the way , but he's a bit too late ,the creature grazes the shoulder of Allen , drawing blood .

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS " Allen shouts while feeling pain in his shoulder 

" i don't know , it's agility is beyond anything i can think of , i barely sensed it , like i said be on your guard , sharpen you senses , this one probably realizes we're the biggest threats here" Cole says while looking around cautiously , he tries to come up with a plan for this, then he realizes something ,his unused stat points , he adds ten points to agility and 6 points to strenght , be then he realizes its no use he still can't see it , but he thinks he can sense it better , just he about to talk he feels something coming from his left , he hurriedly dodges , and hears the sound of something passing where he was 

" can you see it Cole?" Layla asked 

" no , but i think I'm able to sense it , i feel like we need lightning speed to match it , Wait lighting " he realizes that maybe he can channel lightning to his senses , but he believes its risky , as his mind might get fried if he's affected by his own lightning , but the same time ,he thinks its the only way if not ,he will die anyway . he puts half his focus on his element , trying to channel it through his mind and body , while he's doing this Allen and Layla notice lightning streaks , running through his hand chest and head , and Layle who's right next to him notice the lighting also extended to eyes, making them shine blue and white .

on Cole side after realizing that attempt worked , looks around , and is a bit stunned that that time seemed to be slowed for his percepetion , he then looks around for the monster quickly , because he knows he can't keep this mode for much time . he finally finds it

" A mantis huh" he murmurs , he also notices that the mantis is also slowed meaning this ability's perception surpasses the mantis's agility .

so he dashes at his full speed , using his maximum effort, but he doesnt realize that with his infused lightning the two next to him didnt even see him move , he looked like he teleported for them , then they heard a slashing a sound , they look to it's direction , and find Cole , and what seems to be a mantis but slashed in half , then they realized but happened , and the shock finally caught up to them . 

" how the hell did he -"

" i don't know Layla, but this is not the time , he looks tired , and im injured , we need to get to the canteene as he said , i'll count on you to make some time for him to rest a bit " Allen responds before Layle even finishes her question .

"ah, yes understood "

" huff , this ability is insane , but ,huff , so damn tiring , i cant let my guard down yet " he then notices to blue orbs on the ground

" Great job kid , i dont know what you did there , but it's not the time for questions , you look tired so take a minute for a breather , Layle go help the group on the way , i'll be right behind you " 

" yes sir " Layla follows the instructions and dashes to help the group on the way to the canteen 

by observing her now, he realizes what her powers are , similar to him but also different the power of ice , he think it doesnt fit her with her fiery personality but also does at the same time, because she's too cold sometimes ' maybe she's bipolar' he then feels a shiver downs his spine ' right , never think something bad about a woman , they can use their bullshit sense to feel'.

after 4 mins of rest he gets ready realizing he has enough energy to fight right now , so runs to where the fighting is , trying his best to clear the way to the canteen , after a 20 min long fight of clearing the way , and guiding survivors , they finally reach the entrance of the canteen .
