Lilith, the spirit

Leo continued to take off his clothes with a large smirk on his face.

Once he was butt naked, Leo entered the bathroom to wash his sweat-covered body.

Leo began having a lot of shower thoughts as hot water rained on his body from head to toe.

He pondered about what he should do from here, about his future, about his old world.

He felt nervous and even a little terrified of the uncertainties, yet he was also excited about this new world and all of the new things that he's learned.

While Leo was busy with his useless thoughts, I walked inside the bath and entered the bathtub.

Being a half angel, I have a special feature. My body automatically repels any type of dust and dirt. Even the smell or sweat from my body would be holy water and enchanting smell.

Having such a feature, I had no real need to bath or clean myself but laying in a bath tub full of hot water and relaxing all of you muscles is a really good feeling sometimes.

I looked over to Leo who had his eyes shut tightly and was still washing his hair.

Leo suddenly had the urge to open his eyes that had been closed shut for many minutes.

However, what he saw when he opened his eyes caused him to scream and fall into the bathtub.

"It's a ghost!" He shouted in a surprised voice as his wide eyes stared at the shower walls in front of him, where a human head was sticking out of the wall.

"Oi!! Don't go around falling on people inside bathtub!!" I shouted at him.

The ghost was also surprised by Leo's reaction, and it exclaimed in a clear feminine voice, "Y-You can see me?!"

"It can talk?!" Leo cried out.

"Hey! Answer me! Can you see me?!" The ghost asked him again.

Leo sat in the bathtub with a dazed look on his face.

Then he turned his face towards me and asked me, "C- Can y- you see it too...?"

I looked at him with a angry face and pushed him away.

"First of all, don't talk to someone while sitting on them!!! Second thing, ofcourse I can see her, duh!"

"B-But... Her b-body!!" Leo trembled in fear while looking at the head the was popping out of the wall.

"Don't care about that and just get out of the bath of you are so scared." I waved my hand at him.

"Y- You can also see me?!" The female ghost spoke with astonishment.

I just glared at her in irritation but then pretended to not notice her.

After putting on the only thing he has available, a bathrobe he'd found in the bathroom, Leo went straight to bed and pretended to go to sleep.

He kept pretending such way in hope that the ghost would get bored and not haunt him.

"You're pretty bad at pretending, you know? I know you can see me. I'm not an evil spirit, so you don't need to be wary."

"…"

"Don't worry about her Leo, she is just a waste of time." I said as I walked out of the bathroom with a towel on my waist.

Even if my body is immune to any kind of dust, my clothes aren't. I don't have anything to wear right now.

The ghost floated toward me and pouted, " hey don't you think that's too rude to say to a beautiful lady like me?"

"...."

I sighed with helplessness. Although I accept that she is beautiful but I have already seen many anime girls that are much beautiful than her and I have even met them these days.

Still pouting, the ghost girl crossed her arms under her chest and angrily said to Leo, " Hey! If you don't open your eyes right now, I will possess your body and make you run around the school naked!!"

Hearing such an awful threat, Leo's eyes snapped open, and he shouted, "Don't you fucking dare!"

When he opened his eyes, he could finally see the ghost floating besides him.

Seeing the ghost girl for the first time, he was a little dazed by her.

This ghost had long white hair spread behind her like a cape with wind, long eye lashes, and she had two very beautiful gem-like red eyes. Her body was delicate and perfectly balanced. She had long, slender legs, and a pale complexion that made it seem like she was made out of pure snow. She also looked to be around his age, and she was wearing a uniform that resembled the ones worn by the students in this academy.

Seeing Leo's dazed expression, the female ghost smiled, "Are you scared of my appearance?"

Leo frowned and said, "I am not scared of you. Who are you? Are you really a ghost? And what do you want from me?"

The ghost looked a little surprised by his answer.

"I'm not really a ghost, since I am not completely dead. I am what you call a 'Spirit'."

"What's the difference?"

"Let me tell you." I answered instead of the ghost.

"Spirits are special beings that belong to the nature. They are a type of soul without any physical manifestation. Usually natural spirits governs a special element or artifact but any are just random spirits that floats around all over the world. On the other hand, a ghost is a manifestation of the lifetime regrets of a creature who died with regrets. Ghosts are just some mindless creatures that rush after their incomplete regrets." I said while wearing some spare clothes.

"Exactly word by word!! Nice!!" The spirit clapped.

"By the way, I have a name. Lilith. Nice to meet you, Leo from another world and you, the rude person I don't know the name of.

"My name is Oswald and I am not rude. It's you who is irritating."

"Wha—?! How did you…" Leo's eyes widened with shock when he heard Lilith say that he is from another world.

"Wait a minute!! Are you the one who summoned me into this world?!" Leo screamed.

"What? Do I look like someone who would know summoning magic? I only heard you mumbling to yourself in bathroom!!" Lilith retorted.

"With that being said, I have known about you— the 'Leo' before you for a while now. I mean, I didn't personally know him, but I have watched him a couple of times when he was still alive. He couldn't see me, though."

Leo stared at the beautiful spirit before him with a pondering face.

After a moment of silence, he spoke, "So, what do you want from me? If you're not here to haunt me, then can you leave me alone?"

"What? After countless years, I have finally found someone that can see me, much less have a conversation with me! There's no way that I'd leave you alone now!" Lilith exclaimed.

"With that being said, I declare both of you my friends from now on!!"

"Dont drag me into this. I don't have any intention of befriending a dead person." I declared.

"I knew it was a mistake to acknowledge you…" Leo sighed.
