The gentle breeze rustled, and peach blossoms fell from the tree branches. Keira Leaf reached out her hand to gently pluck a peach blossom from her hair and whispered, "Peach blossoms bloom and then fall; without realizing it, so much time has already passed."
After a moment of silence, Keira Leaf slowly withdrew her gaze, turned her head to find Max Sully's direction, and said softly, "Let's go."
Max Sully carefully helped her into the car, entered from the other car door, and started the car. Lucas Taylor was the driver, and throughout the entire time, he hadn't said a word. However, from the car's mirror, the sight of Keira Leaf's bandaged eyes seemed to distress him briefly.
A doctor sat in the co-driver's seat. Max Sully had hired him to accompany them to Australia, to prevent any discomfort Keira Leaf might experience during the trip.
"Let's go," Max Sully sighed softly.
