Chapter 1: Into the MCU Part 1

Chapter 1: Into the MCU Part 1

[So first, I will be re-writing the earlier chapters and editing quite a few things. This is going to be an AU, but not by too much.]

[ Author's note: Just a quick spoiler alert for Spider-Man No Way home, if you have not watched it, skip this chapter, but then again, you should not be reading a marvel fanfic if you have not finished your shows and movies.]

"LETS GOO!" The cinema hall erupted in cheers after watching the Doctor-Strange trailer.

Currently, my dad and I have just finished watching the movie, Spiderman-No Way Home, and I have to say, it is probably the best marvel movie made.

Maybe it is because I am a Spider-Man fan, I feel like Marvel out did themself in this movie.

I turned to my dad, who didn't seem to understand how great of a masterpiece this movie was and said,'' Well? What do you think? Tom Holland's acting was great, right?"

"It was good, I just don't get why the entire hall was so noisy throughout the movie, this usually doesn't happen at all."

"Thats because of the 3 Spiderman coming together into 1 movie! It is because you have not followed all the superhero movies, but this is a major milestone for Marvel! The introduction of the multiverse is a major step in the right direction!"

"The multiverse? What is that?" My dad asked.

" I can't really explain it, but it is essentially the theory that there are an unlimited number of universes out there. For example, one where humans have already made space travel accessible to the public. Or maybe a world which did not have covid."

"How is that possible? That's just crazy." My dad replied as we were leaving the hall.

Right as I was about to refute my dad, the cinema screen flickered and showed a QR code and a title was written on it.

[ Please do this quick survey for improvements on the movie]

It felt a little odd to me.

Marvel had never done this before.

But I still complied and took my phone out and scanned the code.

I started to enthusiastically answer the questions

...

Question 1: How did you find the movie?

Answer: It was the best movie thus far! I was extremely pleased with it. The only complaints I have is that you were unable to get Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) in the movie.

Question 2: If you could, would you want to be inside the MCU?

Answer: Yes, if I could I would love to join the MCU. I would love to meet the characters which filled my ch...

...

"Let's go. We still have to go home, you need to wake up early for school tomorrow."

I just nodded my head and went back home.

It was only back at night when I tried to sneakily use my phone in the middle of the night did I see the survey again.

By now, my crazy fan-boy hype had died down, and I was able to answer the questions honestly.

...

Question 2: If you could, would you want to be inside the MCU?

Answer: Yes, if I could I would love to join the MCU. I would want to explore the unknown world of superpowers if possible, and fulfill some selfish desires of mine.

Question 3: What would you want your super power to be?

Answer: I do not want 1 specific power. I want multiple ones. Why be locked onto 1 power? I want to be versatile for all situations. So I do not know what I want my power to be.

Question 4: What do you believe about good and evil?

Answer: Normally, in my books, being good means to help without asking for something in return. Being evil is only wanting to fulfill your selfish desires even if it is at the expense of others. Being good is over-rated, being evil is dumb. Only in the middle is something perfect. Helping people but expecting some benefits, being selfish but not harming others, that is what I believe a person has to be to survive in the MCU.

Question 5: Are you good or evil?

Answer: Society classifies me as good. I believe I am neutral, but if anyone knew my inner-thoughts, they would think of me as evil. There is no direct answer to this question.

Question 6: If you had a dream body type, which character would it be and why?

(Can't be someone from the main MCU)

Answer: Flash Thompson (Chris Zylka) from TASM. He is tall and fit, good-looking, yet can be low-key. My ideal body type.

Question 7: If you could, would you want to have a harem in the MCU or not?

Answer: I don't know. If you ask me would I want to have sex with more than 1 character that would be a yes, 100%. There are too many good looking characters in the MCU. But I believe that marriage is with 1 person for life, so honestly, I don't know if I would want a harem.

Question 8: Would you want a system to help you in the MCU?

Answer: NO. I dislike all types of systems. They make the 'hosts' slaves to the systems. They dictate the lives of every 'host' and essentially control all their actions.

Question 9: If you were in the MCU, would you be a villain or a hero?

Answer: Neither. I am not as selfless as Spider-Man to give life up to save the world but I also believe that I am not crazy enough to kill people randomly.

...

After I submitted the survey, I saw a reply pop up.

[Thank you for participating in this survey. We will get back to you if you pass the first round of selection.]

Seeing this, I thought that marvel was trying to recruit new people in a unique way or something, and brushed it off.

It was only after I was crushed by a truck 3 weeks later, did I remember this survey.

Yes I am rewriting the novel. Looking back at what I wrote last time just makes me seem like an idiot for ruining potential lmfao.
