　　Carrie stands before her cauldron. The sound of a thick bubbling with the stench of rotten something and death penetrates the nostrils of Joseph who tries to hold his breath.

　　She twirls her hands around the cauldron as she chants away with her eyes closed and hair flowing in the air.

　　The small frail body of a baby girl is laid on top of a small bed with an old duvet covering her body to the front of her, across from the table she conjures her spell.
