7 CHAPTER SEVEN

There are four elements known to man; water, earth, air and fire. Unbeknownst to them, time is also an element.

Anyone could harness an element, bending them when they deem fit, using them for good or evil. It was rare for one to harness two or more elements, but it was not unheard of.

Fire was considered the most dangerous element; it could turn water to air, air could enhance the fire power, earth could shatter to glass when in contact with fire, and fire could change into lightning . Those who could harness the element of fire, were short tempered and lacked self-control, so they were to train from a young age to prevent any major damage. Fire harnessers have orange eyes.

Water was the second most dangerous element, water could take any form it wanted; solid in form of ice, liquid in form of water, and vapor in form of a gas. And then there was the commanding of the body, the body is said to contain seventy-five percent of water, only those who are in harmony with the element can command a body, and also controlling water plants. Water harnessers have blue eyes.

Air was the third, it was invisible to others. It could cut through water and earth, air harnessers could also extract air from anything and any one having mastered the element. Air harnessers have grey eyes.

Earth was the last element, it was to be practiced physically and spiritually due to not only the mind moving rocks but the toll it takes on the body. Earth harnessers could shape stone into any form they desired, and they could control smaller particles such as sand, Earth harnessers have brown eyes.

Queen Amara was truly a beautiful woman, in fact she is said to be the most beautiful Queen in the entire world; her thick black and white hair was tied in a neat bun, her pale skin looked like it was bathed in milk and was sprinkled with stars, and her eyes oh her eyes were beautiful that they could not be hidden even in the darkness, her eyes were different from one another; one orange and the other blue. Like water and fire at war, fighting for dormancy.

Alpha was too scared to stand and look away from the woman they called the Queen of the North but her eyes could not look away, even when the whited haired man whom she now knew was Sir Anthony dragged her back to her fit, she still could not look away.

"What a pretty thing, never in my life have I ever seen green eyes before, you are truly remarkable Lion cub " even her voice was beautiful but cold that Alpha could not help but tear her gaze from hers to Anthony who's drinking what seemed to be tea.

After Sir Anthony talked to her in the small cell underground, a guard came in telling Anthony that the Queen wished to see him and the lady. So, that is why Alpha was kneeling before the Queen of the North despite being told to rise because the floor was made of clear ice that she could see her reflection. But she could not even stand without shaking form the cold and the Queen's fazing gaze.

"Do you know why you are here, Alpha?" Queen Amara asked walking down the stairs that led to her throne towards the green eyed girl who refused to meet her piercing gaze, "Do you?" she asked again patiently waiting for Alpha to speak "No-no" Alpha stuttered not from fear but from the freezing temperature "Well, allow me to elaborate for you," Amara trailed off as she knelt before Alpha and gently grabbed her chin making her look her in the eye "your family and all the other royal families of the South and West Kingdoms have got something that belongs to us, and you all mysterious Lady of the East are going to help me get it back"

"Aston, have you seen lady Alpha, Sir Rodrick here has been looking for her?" King Quince asked his son who looked at him with a frown "Father, I have been with the builders since we arrived, you assigned me to tell them the lay out" Prince Aston said just as the beautiful lady arrived, Josephine "have you seen her ladyship, her bath is ready and I can't seem to find her anywhere, your majesties" Josephine inquired and both the King and his son froze thinking the worst.

Before any of them could speak, Rodrick came running towards them eyes glowing blue, he out stretched his arm and in his hand he held this glowing black sand "am afraid, Lady Alpha might have been taken" and they fear embraced them like a mother's love for her child with one thought in mind 'Prince Orion will not be happy'

Rodrick was so deep in thought that he did not notice the carriage come to a stop until a guard opened the door, who would be foolish enough to kidnap the Lady? A lion at that? And where would they take her? Why would they take her? The East has no enemy, simple bandits could not be too foolish enough to do that, so who in their right minds would kidnap Lady Alpha?

Immediately Rodrick stepped out the carriage, he was grabbed by the collar and shoved against the carriage, from the fire that was burning his collar he could tell who it was "Brother! Leave Sir Rodrick alone! He has nothing to do with this!" Orisha yelled, and Rodrick looked up to meet the grey eyes of Princess Orisha, Orion's younger sister who was in the West Kingdom on one of her adventures.

Princess Orisha was a plain jean but had a attitude like no other; her brown hair was cut that it only covered her ears and the nape of her neck, her honey skin has a few rough scars from her adventures, and her grey eyes were dull and empty. Orisha was only two years younger than her brother and three years older that her half sister, Alpha whom she did not like one bit, and was hell bent on making her life miserable.

"Why should I?! He was supposed to keep an eye on her until she got back!" Orion growled eyes glowing that they produced enough light as the sun began to go down, marking a day since the Lady was taken. "Remember who you are Orion, a prince soon to be King in a year, and your behavior will surely reach father in the West" Orisha stated trying to save the man whom has been like a second brother to her, Orion looked conflicted as her gritted his teeth wanting to punish the old man who did not do his job.

He growled as he stepped away from Rodrick who stumbled to the ground and would have surely fallen to his death if it was not for the two guards who helped him regain his balance " I am deeply sorry, your majesties that I failed you. I accept any punishment that you give that may seem fit for my disloyalty" Rodrick said bowing his head and the Prince sighed rubbing his temple "Let's finish this discussion in my study" he said glaring at the six guards that looked the other way when Orion looked towards them.

As soon as the door closed the sound of skin to skin contact echoed through the room and Orion gaped at the red hand print on Rodrick's face and Orisha's glowing grey eyes that looked like a storm brewing inside her "Do you have any idea what you have done?! That little brat possesses more power than any of us!" Orisha yelled fuming and for a second Rodrick thought she actually cared for Alpha, but it all went down hill after at what she said next.

"She is the daughter of an outsider those barbarians and of a King! Those two combined create something the world has not seen!" Orisha yelled and Orion decided to speak up "what are talking about!?" and Orisha looked him in the eyes breaking her promise to her parents.

"She can control time"
