The Ninth Continent: Hazel Green

He halted instantly, then slowly let out a devilish smirk under his mask. “Don’t act all innocent around me”, he gradually raised his head until he locked his peculiar eyes into her oblivious ones and continued, “we both know who you really are." “That’s where you’re wrong Jacob”, she said, pulling out a midget handgun from the pocket of her blue, badged jacket. Aiming with both hands at the masked man’s head she said in an angry and pain-stricken voice. “I came here to start over. To be free from the burden of the past. But you’ve made my life a living hell already, and you’ve been here how long?”, she rhetorically asked. “I was doing so well, so well…”, she said stealing a glance at the sky and the little ray of light from the sun it allowed through and continued, “..until you came here and destroyed everything I worked so hard for” “Which is?” “My peace” she screamed. “I left all those burdens, and all those mistakes behind, only for you to come here and pull me back into that darkness. But no more”, she said with an expression of strong disagreement, shaking her head. “I promise you” she said cocking the gun “It ends today." Moon-bound

Prologue   The little boy of eleven heard a cry from the woods that tugged at his heartstrings. And as it wailed, it was like a siren’s call as it drew him toward it, unconscious to the fact that he was walking deeper into the woods. long was the father forgotten as he trailed behind his son, who seemed to be deaf to the world when he kept walking as if in a trance. He found himself alarmed by his son’s state, however rather than to shake his son out of the spell he seemed to be under, he figured he might as well investigate and see just who it was that aimed to hurt his heir. And so he silently walked keeping a look out for any danger that might pounce out of nowhere. However, the awaited danger never came, the mere notion of it crushed when the wailing of a baby reached his own ears. They were three feet far before they reached the wrapped up bundle that wept and he watched as his son carefully picked up the baby that looked no older than four months. What surprised him was that the baby quietened as soon as it laid cradled in the arms of his son. Young Maximus finally blinked with the silence and looked at the baby within his arms, only for his heart to lurch when it opened its eyes and stared right back into his. She is beautiful, he thought, her silver pools shone from shed tears that seemed to have halted their fall the minute she had been pacified by the calming beat of his heart. His heart bloomed then when she gave him a toothless smile only to let out a squeaky sound as if to claim him as he would when he muttered. “Mine, all mine" the words were breathy through his lips, and he heard a gasp from behind him, only then did Maximus become aware of his father. “What do you mean son?” he questioned and the son merely smiled and said “She’s my mate, Aurelius just said so” referring to his wolf that lay down wagging its tail in happiness in the back of his mind. He may have been only eleven, however, he had already shifted at the young age of ten, where as normal werewolf pups turned at sixteen. Then again, his father found that he understood, after all he was merely his adoptive father, and with Maximus’ history, it made it easy to understand. Therefore, he didn’t doubt when the young boy stated that the human baby in his hands was his mate. What he wondered, however, was why a parent would simply abandon their baby when it was even yet to walk.

The Goblin Prince

"In a realm where magic intertwines with the fabric of reality, the birth of Prince Veer Chandravansh heralds a new era for the Godling empire, a beacon of hope amidst races of elves, beastmen, orcs, dragons, and more. But this joy is shadowed by a dire prophecy revealed by the Royal Seer—a looming darkness that threatens to engulf their world in seventeen years, with Veer at its heart. Unexpectedly cast into the manaless Earth in a human body, Veer must navigate a path back to his world, armed only with a mysterious system that guides his cultivation in a land devoid of magic. Upon his return, Veer is met with a world unrecognizable from the tales of his childhood. The Godlings, once a proud and beautiful race, have devolved into goblins, scorned and hunted by the allies they once stood beside. Veer's quest becomes twofold: unravel the mystery behind his race's downfall and unite a fractured world against the darkness foretold. 'The Goblin Prince' is a tale of courage, identity, and the unyielding bond that weaves the fate of races. Veer must confront the shadows of prophecy, challenge the norms of his world, and discover the true essence of power within himself to forge a future not just for the Godlings, but for all the races of his vast world. This novel blends the allure of high fantasy with the grit of a survival story, inviting readers on a journey through enchanted realms, political intrigue, and the depths of the human (and not-so-human) spirit."
