Taxao's Status
Crista stared at the two talking with each other from afar and did not know how to feel about it.
"She's calm now...she won't hurt him anymore" Kingsley tried to explain but the gaze he saw her giving the two made her sigh. "We've only been brothers for a few days but I'm already involved in so many messes"
"How long have they known each other?" Crista asked.
Kingsley scratched the back of his head. "Not too long...I guess?"
Crista did not say anymore and after they were done talking, Pel and Tulip came back and the latter looked to be in a much better condition and she had also changed into casual clothes.
"So where exactly are we gonna sleep?" Kingsley asked the question that was pricking everyone's mind.
30 minutes later, the four of them could be seen entering a mansion.
"Miss you're back, should I inform sir?" the butler said.
Tulip shook her head. "You're still awake by this time...just arrange a room for them, I'll see the old man in the morning"

The next morning.
"He blew up your house and you brought him here?" Bruce said glaring at Tulip.
"So what? ...this place is getting old anyway, he'll give you a reason to get a new place" Tulip shrugged.
The others remained silent at the father and daughter duo.
"You look awfully calm" Bruce raised a brow, staring at Pel.
"Don't stress your brain about it, I beat him up" Tulip replied nonchalantly.
Bruce massaged his eyebrow. His daughter was definitely trying to reduce his lifespan. "What caused the explosion?"
Tulip turned to Pel and the latter summoned Taxao. Seeing the lines on Bruce's forehead, he inwardly sighed and explained what happened the former night and a bit about himself while leaving out some parts.
"An alien?" Bruce turned to his daughter seeking an explanation but she remained quiet. "I already have you trying your best to shorten my lifespan, you want me to shelter an alien"
"He will compensate you of course...we can't take care of a Kerki for free, right Pel?" Tulip said with a small smile.
Pel inwardly cussed. "Sure, as long as you know where to draw the line"

In the Telon family, the atmosphere remained somber. What Pel had done had not just brought them a great deal of trouble but they lost many instructors who should be considered strong based on their power level.
Despite his maddening act, they knew this matter should be handled with care and at the same time they couldn't portray themselves as weak.
At least it had not reached the stage where the Patriarch would show himself and the rankings test had come to a complete stop, halting many of their plans.
They needed something to cool off their anger and a high elder after seeing Famien appear almost flew into rage. "Why are you so useless?"
Damien bowed his head, feeling angry on his own, he couldn't believe Pel would be so daring but why was he being blamed for it, it wasn't fair at all.
"You couldn't even grow close to him... if that had happened then you might have been able to prevent this, despite all the resources spent on you, you turn out to be so useless"
Damien clenched his fist, he wanted to defend himself but that action will be seen as defiance and his punishment will be even heavier.
'Why..why am I standing here in place of that bastard?' then he had an idea.
"May I speak?"
"Go on, what other rubbish can come out of your mouth?" another high elder scoffed.
Damien then opened his mouth. "Amongst all that resumed with Pel, I found out that three of them were his friends and there's a space elemtalist among them"
"So..." this time non of the elders or high elders outright criticized him and waited for him to say more.
After the incident of Pel insulting him when was just checking out the girl beside him, he also wanted to quench some of his hatred and even if he couldn't act on Pel, he could at least act on those close to him.
Until one of his subordinates informed in of an interesting piece of news about Adam and he had invited the latter for a chat, trying to sow discord but then the hr found that there wasn't much to do since Afam didn'tlile Pel very much but...no matter what he said Adam refused to go against Pel.
Even threatening him did not work out and he didn't budge. So Damoen was a bit confused, if he didn't like Pel then why was he not going against him, unless the fellow knew something he didn't.

Pel opened the system and was almost blasted away by the number of messages. He hadn't claimed the rewards for owning a Pet and the quest rewards were still pending.
With a sigh, he checked his status.

"Not at you... anyway forget that, Just call me Pel.. master sounds weird" Pel smiled.
