CHAPTER 1

"Mommy do you think the kids in manila are kind?" my son asked while we're in the car, driving to his new school in his kindergarten.

"Yes, son don't be scared if they hurt you just tell me, okay?" He nodded and went back to look at the buildings we were passing by. My phone beeped because my secretary had called me, but I hang up because I'm driving.

"Have a good day sweetheart make friends so you will not be alone I love you!" I said and kissed him on his cheeks before living him inside his room, I run as much as fast as I can to the parking lot of their school because I'm running late to my meeting.

I stopped for a moment when my secretary called again.

"Ma'am, the meeting will be starting soon, your husband can't attend immediately because he is still in his meeting. I hope you can still make it on time" she asked nervously.

"I'm on my way don't worry, Is everybody already there?" I replied while driving.

"Some are not here yet at the moment" I replied okay and focused again on driving.

"I still have 10 minutes but it's so traffic" I said in annoyance, I started again my engine when the lights turn green, I drove as much as fast as I could.

As soon as I when out of the car, my secretary was already waiting for me.

"We're already 5mins late on the meeting" my secretary said as we walked to the entrance of my company because I was late due to the traffic here in Manila.

I looked at the phone and saw that my husband was in the conference room, I sighed in relief.

"It's ok Reese, Killian is already in the meeting but still we need to make it on the meeting while it is not yet starting" I said and jogged to the closing elevator.

"Good morning, ma'am" my workers greetings that I replied too and waited until the elevator comes to the floor of the conference room.

"Sorry I'm late" they all turned around when I arrived, they immediately greeted me and sat down again, I immediately went to my husband Killian and kissed him on the cheek.

"Let's continue?" I continued, as soon as the presenter nodded in front of us, I noticed that there was another empty seat in front of me, I was about to ask Killian when suddenly the door turned, and a man entered.

He is tall, his eyes are cold and dark, pointed perfect nose, red kissable lips, perfect angle of jaw and a well fine built body. His built is more defined because of his suit.

But suddenly my heart was beating with so much force because a few years later I remembered again what happened in my life because of this man who was the first to beat, destroy, crush, and change my life.
