Chapter 18: silver test 3- Sinners

Flash back 11 years ago in the Diora capital...

A beautiful woman with long blonde hair in a blue dress was sitting on a balcony of a huge yellow cottage surrounded by other buildings, latched on to her was a young girl about the age of six, her blonde hair was much messier and her nose was full of snot which dirtied her brown dress.

"Genny blow your nose, that's no way for an Amazon to behave" the woman used a tissue to grab the girl's nose.

'Phhuuuuuuu' the girl's nose filled the tissue up with green snot.

"Ew" , 'fling', the woman flings the tissue away and it falls on the head of a passer-by

"Grossssss'!" The man hit by the tissue shouts and runs away to find some water.

"Hiheheh Mamaaa that guy was funny heeeehee" Genny laughs.

"Yes he was, but even so these people are worthy of respect by us Amazons" the woman said proudly.

"Huh?" Genny asked curiously.

"We all came from the same origins, even though they can't use their Mana like we can, they are still apart of us, just like your father" the woman smiled.

"Dada's too normal, he can't lift a tree" Genny pouted.

"yes normal humans are quiet weak that's why we Amazons have a duty to protect, promise me if you see some in danger you'll try your best to help them" the woman asked the girl.

"Anything for you Mama! I love you!" Genny hugs the woman tightly and she hugs back...

Present...

Mountain

Genevieve mouth was bleeding from a hit she took, in front of her were the 10 salamanders she took on as her opponents however

"You lizards are cowards! Taking hostages, where's your pride!" Genevieve yelled.

Each salamander had a human in transparent belly, they we're using them so Genevieve wouldn't go all out and fry them with her magic.

(It's getting harder and harder to keep that promise Mama but...) "Fine then I'll use this tactic!" Genevieve started to run away from the lizards who began chasing her.

"Chhaaaaa,shaaaaa lshaaaaa!" The salamanders let out cries as they moved on the ground and the ceilings.

{Shining needles!} Genevieve took her wooden staff and numerous light made sewing needles shot at the salamanders.

'Pew','pew','pew' the needle hit the lizards but the damage wasn't much Genevieve was restraining herself from going all out due to fear of killing the humans inside.

"Saaaashaaaa!" 3 salamanders launched fire balls at the Amazon.

"Ghhhh!" Genevieve dodged the attack by the skin of her teeth as the fireballs create a huge Crater in front of her 'blasssssst!'.

Genevieve stands at the edge of the Crater until...

'swissshhh!' one of the salamanders holding a little girl in it's stomach smacks Genevieve into the hole "Ahhhhhhhhhh" she screams and tumbles down to the bottom.

"Shaaaahsshsssaaa!" As if following their animal instincts they are circled the creater and readied to pounce on the girl however.

[Amazon strain:body of mother Earth]

Genevieve muscles began to grow strangely, she now looked like a bodybuilder (her biceps had biceps ;-)

She stood up right before the lizards jumped her and lifted her right hand.

'Shiiiiii' light Mana gathered around the huge arm like a golden glove and she smiled...

{Light magic: intense stitching}

Several threads of light scattered from her palm and stabbed each salamander, the big thread separated into smaller ones and invaded through the tiny wounds made by the light needles.

"Hissssaaaa!" The salamanders screamed from the pain.

"Haaaaaaaaa!" Using her boosted strength Genevieve pulls all 20 hostages out of the stomachs of the lizards tearing their transparent bellies in the process 'burstttt!'.

'Thuddddd' the bodies hit the ground hard, the lizards struggled in pain while the humans we're asleep.

"Hehehe, now that you reptiles have no leverage, full power! {Light ray!}" Genevieve proceeded to destroy all 10 lizards and turn them into ash.

Mountain passage

Leading a group of about 30 villagers to safety the quiet Igbo girl Amaka thinks to herself,

(No wonder those lizards didn't take anymore people, it's annoying having to deal with a crowd like this) she hissed and continued to lead them until...

"Wow there Missy, where you leading this party to?" An ugly pale skinned thug with a red mohawk, and torn black robes steps in front of her and the villagers.

"Don't tell me you also work for this Alchemist persona?" Amaka asked the thug.

"Hell yah! As a mercenary I'll help anyone who pays me a hefty fee, now stay still while I cut you open! " the mercenary said crazily.

"I can't do that sadly" Amaka bit her thumb  and pink blood flowed out.

{Blood link} she shot out the slow pink bullet at him however...

[Sliver spike spin] the mercenary destroys the magic bullet with fancy blade work for a Sharp silver dagger in his hand.

"Projectiles won't work on me Missy, give up and let me see your guts" the man said again.

"Knight do something!", "I don't want to die!, "Save us!!!" The crowd shouted behind her

(Bloody annoying, not only does my opponent Know how to counter me, but the crowd is annoying, my magic is accurate but slow, I'll have to use counter measures) she thought while biting her lip.

"Oh!!!! His too strong!!!" Amaka yelled, "we're all doomed!! Run for it!!! " She said as if acting in a low budget movie.

"Huh?" The mercenary looked confused he hadn't even shown her his strongest move yet.

"Gyahhhhh!", "You heard her out of my way!!", "No I'm leaving first! ", " Woman and children first first you old ballsacks!" The crowd started to panic and rush pass the mercenary.

"Hey! Stop damn it!" He tried to stop them but they bodied him out of the way, he couldn't kill them cause that would be breaching his contract with the alchemist.

"Damn you knigh....." The mercenary was about to attack Amaka till his body stopped moving, something vhard hit his back.

"My body!" He cried.

"Is mine now" Amaka moved her right hand up and so did he.

Amaka had used her magic bullet to infect a single villager, the bullet can be kept dormant inside a body and shot out again by her will,

She waited until the villager was directly behind the mercenary and he was distracted to shoot again.

"This is my magic {body link!}" She said and moved her left hand to her leg.

The man also did that his left hand was holding a blade to his leg, "no way if you dare stab me it will also hurt you!" The man yelled thinking about the potential weaknesses of her magic.

"Is that so?" 'stabbb!' Amaka makes the man stab his left leg.

"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" The man cries in pain while Amaka looks normal

(Body Link! My unique magic it turns my blood into bullets that steal away my targets movements and links them to my own, I also don't feel the pain inflicted to them, the only downside to it is that it's slower than a real bullet and can be deflected by both magic and normal attacks) Amaka thought.

"I can do anything to you and nothing will happen to me! Look" she moves the dagger and stabs his right hand this time.

"Gyahhhhh! Please stop!!!!" He pleads for mercy as all the villagers escape from the passage.

"If your willing to kill, you should be ready to be killed as well" she moves her hand to her neck.

"Noooo, please nooo! Noooooooo!" The man cries out as blood drips from the side of his neck and...

'foammmm' he passes out die to fear and his mouth foams.

"Pfft what a weakling" she cuts the link and leaves him there, "I'm not even much of a fighter" she says and follows the other villagers.

Mountain base

The scene had destroyed rocks, boulders and pillers everywhere this was the current battle field of Homus and Edward.

{Spiral!} Homus tried to grab Edward's arm but failed and instead twisted the top of a rock(not the whole rock).

{Air wall} [monk fist] a green Mana glove covered Edward's palm and he fling it at the ground creating a dust cloud and gets some distance from her.

"Is running away the best you can do?" Homus asked as she destroyed the dust cloud however.

"Here!" 3 stones were thrown at her with intense speed and she blocked 2 with her hands but the third one hit her forehead 'bam!' blood fell down her face.

"Tck! Hurting a woman's face is unforgivable!" Homus shouts and  touches the ground {Spiral earth!} The whole ground erupts and Edward loses balance.

'Fwoooshh!' Homus closes the gap and touches the left side of his ribs,

"Grrr'!" Edward screams as his left side twists a bit but he quickly counters her,

[tempest kick] Edward dislocates her shoulder with an {air wall} powered kick "kaaaaaa!" She shouts and backs off.

Edward checks his side, thanks to the extra padding in his tunic, his ribs weren't completely twisted however they were broken and the whole skin was red and brused.(It hurts) he said in his mind as a tear fell down his cheek.

"Huhuhuhu gah!" Homus pops her shoulder back in place but by the looks of it, it's as good as worthless now "You really are a pest boy" she says with disgust.

"My only wish is to satisfy my master is that so wrong?, even if a thousand of you humans have to die! I don't care!" She shouted "As long as his happy! That is the wish of my sisters and I!".

Edward could somewhat see the loyalty in her eyes even though she was crazy.

"Sir Remi and the others will definitely save this world, I fully believe that!" He said with pride " I'll stop you and your master!" Edward begins to gather Mana in his right hand.

"Die!!!!!" Homus jumps at hi and raises her  right arm due to her other one being hurt...

Edward aims for her left side then however...

"Got yah!!!!" Homus then lifts her left hand tries to grab Edward's face (she faked being unable to move it) however.

'fwoosh!!' Edward Dodges and only gets grazed by the palm twist his left cheek. And redirects himself to her unprotected right side.

"Shit!!!" She realized her mistake too long.

"Stronger than 1 layer! Stronger than 2!" Edward began to chant(a spell stronger than any he has done before, one Ayat helped him learn)

{Air wall x 5! Power Bash!!!} Edward bashes her chest with the intense magic force of 50 men, his fist breaks her ribs and sends her flying into the wall 'booooooom!'.

5 air shaped force fields disappeared from Edward's arm as he pants heavily.

Homus falls from the wall she was embedded in to the ground 'slamm!'

'sceeíis' she moves around and tries to get up however.

"Blechhhhh!" She vomits a ton of blood and even her old wounds open up.

She recalls a certain memory as the pain takes over her body.

Flashback...

Teenage Homus and a bunch of girls who looked just like her but with different hair styles wearing black and white uniform addressed a red robes old man.

"Go forth and bring me philosopher stones and humans my creations" he said in a rusty voice.

'Yes masters!' The girls happily shouted and ran out.

The girls would come back beaten and bruised but they never complained or asked the alchemist to heal them.

"Remember girls master needs all the stones and magic for his health, even if you are about to die never ask him to heal you" the oldest homunculus said to Homus and the younger ones.

"Yes Ma'am!" The all said cheerfully their only happiness was helping their master.

As the years went back more of them died out leaving Homus behind, she survived the longest because she twisted her wounds allowing them to heal faster.

"Don't worry girls to my last breath I won't be a burden to master, I'll show him all the love you had for him sisters!" She said with tears in her eyes.

End of flashback...

Homus stood up bleeding heavily, Edward began gathering Mana again.

"Stay down! I don't want to have to kill you" Edward said "I need to save Sir and the others!".

"Master... " She smiled "Weeeeeee looooooooveeeeeeeeeeee youuuuuuuu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She yelled her heart out.

The scream chilled Edward to the bone the very power in those words resonated through out the mountain until.......

....

....

Silence...

Edward looked at Homus and her eyes were empty, nothing was left, her soul was gone,

She had died standing up, smiling and declaring her love to her creator, the highest Honor a homunculus could have.

Edward closed his mouth, he didn't even know when tears began to fall to fall from his cheeks the sheer dedication to ones goal was nothing to laugh at, even though she was his enemy Edward respected her...

Mountain core

Remi the dark skinned boy was currently locked in combat with what looked like hands made of rocks, the hands would try to grab him but he would jump away from them, until 'sziziziz!' a sharp rock spear appeared and shot pass his side tear off a bit of flesh and staining the floor with his blood

"Ghhhhh" Remi bit down, the pain quickly engulfed his side and he back off. The blood on floor evaporated and turned into a red mist that followed him until...

"Shuuu shuu shuu shuu!" The blood mist solidified and shot out as red crystals at Remi.

[Abara sword style swift strike!] Remi stabbed at the crystals destroying them with the speed of the sword.

He then retreated to denser ground which the red lightning couldn't transfigure.

Remi's opponent Carlson the alchemist Demon hissed.

By using the Mana stored with the soul of people (philosopher stones) he powers up the magic circle in his body allowing him to convert any material into one of equal quality as long as it didn't pass a certain density

Remi figured this out when certain parts of the cave were molded to the demon's will.

"What's worse is that he can even use part of my body like blood against me" Remi hissed as well as his side injury healed slowly.

(His a demon like me, his healing factor shouldn't be as strong so if I hand a severe blow it should stun him long enough for me to finish it) Remi  thought.

"What a disgustingly cowardice plan, destroy him with all you rage at once! " Wruk the demon of wrath shouted in Remi's ear in his blue mist form.

"Shut up! What I need right now is your power not your advice!" Remi yelled back and charged at the alchemist.

"I don't think so, {demon arts alchemical rage} Carlson said and red lightning engulfed the ground send of hundreds of stone arms at Remi however.

[Abara sword style! Heavy slam!] The entire ground exploded due to the strength of Remi's sword slash, the dust blinded Carlson for a minute.

[Continuous Abara sword style: falling guillotine!] Remi flew out of the dust and holding his sword high above his head and then bringing it down upon Carlson severing his left arm from his body.

"Gyahhhhhhhhhh!" Carlson screamed as his blood gushed out of where his arm once was.

"Damnit! Why?!!! Everytime I think I could get what I desire there's always something stopping me!!!" The Demon yelled in pain.

From when he was a human he desired immortality but age stopped him, once he merged with a demon he believed he could be the strongest but he was mistaken, he was weak.....

He wanted to remain in power but he couldn't find a way to cross this wall...

"Screw it all!" {Body transmutation!} "Gyahhhhhhhhhh!" Carlson touches his body with red lightning and his flesh explodes sending Remi back as well.

"Gahhaaa" Remi tumbles over some rocks as his sent backwards.

"Grrrrrr!" The alcamist Demon reveals it's new giant form, a naked warped body of flesh with veins everywhere no signs of gentals, his arms where huge and bulky and his head was covered with white hair, his red eyes glowed and so did his long singular red horn.

"Graaaaaaaaaa!" The giant demon lifted his arm and from his flesh 3 dog like creatures emerged and ran towards Remi.

"Hyahhh!" Remi used his sword to destroy 2 of the flesh dogs but the third one jumped over him....

'Swisssh!' the fleshy creature transforms into a spear and Pierces Remi's right shoulder "gaaaaahh!" He screams in pain.

"Grrrrrrraa" the behemoth sends more dogs.

"Haaaaa, haaaaa(what do I do?)" Remi begins to panic and pant.

"My turn!" Remi's body moves on it's own

"Wruk!!!" Remi screams as he can't control his limbs

"Heheheheh!!! I'm done letting you fight like a human now, we'll fight like real Demons!!!!" Wruk yelled with joy as Remi right eye's sclera became clouded will darkness (the white part became black).

Forcing his way through the dogs not caring about the wounds they inflicted. He reached the behemoth and instead of using his sword...

"Horyaaaa!" Wruk drops the sword and lands a punch forcing the beast back.

"Graaaahhhhhhhhh!" The Demon shouts and charges at Remi.

The two Demons exchange blows damaging each other

(Their like beast) Remi looks on still not in control of his body until (look out!!!!) He shouts in his mind.

'twasssssss!' Remi's body is stabbed by a blade of flesh which was Carlson reformed. Left arm "baaahh! Not bad!" Wruk says as he vomits some blood.

"Dieeeeeeeee!" Carlson gets his senses back and tries to crush Remi's body with his right hand however...

'brakkkkkkk!!!' the ground opens up and a black bony creature jumps out and bites off Carlson's right arm.

"Huuuuuh? The chimera?!!!" Carlson looks at his former creation with red eyes of hope however...

"How dare you look away from me Imp!!!" Wruk shouts as he readies a fist, "I'll show you true demon arts"

Remi then feels a great darkness form around his right arm, blue energy surrounds his claws and he lifts it up.

{Demon arts: vanishing Fang!} The energy takes the form of a beast and devours the the top half of Carlson

'twiiiiiiiiiiiikkkkk' the energy destroys him at the very moment he had hope..

'booooommmm' the energy puts a hole through the very mountain destroying all the debris as well.

Remi then feels something hard in his hand(is that?) It's similar to a redish black crystal that fit in his palm.

"The core of an Impus, pathetic" Wruk speaks using Remi's body again and destroys the demon core truly killing Carlson the Alchemist demon...

"But he was right, I am weaker, In my previous host that spell should have destroyed the whole mountain not just the top" Wruk hissed

As the corpse begins to turn to dust, the chimera clings to Remi's half destroyed shirt.

"Wruk is there some way we can turn him back" Remi asked Wruk, the chimera was a human from his world who just saved his life, he wanted to repay him.

Wruk hold the chimera and jumps through the hole in the mountain

"We can discuss that after you deal with this"....."Huh? Wruk?!"

Wruk leaves remind control and vanishes.

Remi turns around and sees David, the guild masters, the heirs, Victor and even the king all staring at him from the forest.

(This can't be good) thinks as he hold his healing chest wound
