Sinopse

After a foggy reincarnation, our protagonist is put in the body of a spider monster in an RPG-like fantasy world. Upon awakening, she must witness the death of her only family in this world, who gives her a new name and all the knowledge she could need to survive. Watch as she lives through battles between warring kingdoms and even religions and uses those opportunities to come on top and crush everyone under her eight legs. (This is a WIP story that I am constantly revising and working on so feedback on anything is welcome, from there I can make the necessary edits to improve the story. What I do know: the main character is pretty ruthless and is definitely not a hero or a villain. She's just trying to survive in a world that rewards ruthlessness while also trying to have some fun.) This was also on my Wattpad originally but I decided to post it here to see what different results I get. Also, Yes, I use gacha. I cannot draw and I like using the app for character designs. If you don't like that, then either leave if you have nothing constructive to say or you can submit your own drawings if you want. (You don't have to and if you do I'll give credit.)

Chapter 1Bed of Silk

It felt like an eternity, but I finally got some feeling in my body back. The first thing I felt was a soft and comfortable sensation on my skin. Like I was in a bed with the softest covers I had seemingly ever felt. I finally had feelings in my limbs but my mind refused to open my eyes at first. I could finally move my arms and stretch my legs after an eternity as an unwilling, marble statue. But as I was moving each leg to ensure it worked, something caught my attention. I slowly moved one leg, then the other…and another…and…another…Am I just bad at counting? After this, I was finally able to open my eyes. At that moment I would have preferred to have been bad math. As soon as my vision adjusted I was greeted with the sight of a large abdomen and six small, skinny legs. I pushed my body to a sitting position and was greeted with Two larger, arm-like appendages with large clawed tips. My body was a deep purple and I could sense a few extra eyes on my face. It was then I realized the situation I was in. I was a spider, and my bed was a bed of silk.

My limbs were shaking and my heart(s?) was pounding in my ears(?). Why did this freak me out!? I have no memory of what kind of creature I was before this, so what did I have to compare this to!? I was finally able to steady my nerves and the pounding subsided. After looking around I concluded that I was in a large cavern of sorts. That, or I was just incredibly small and the cavern was normal-sized. As I was looking around I noticed something floating in the corner of my vision. It looked like text, but it would evade me whenever I tried to look in its direction. I was on the verge of frustration when I stopped my futile efforts, took a deep breath, and started thinking of a new method. Instead, I looked straight ahead and tried to concentrate on my field of vision. After a few moments, I was able to make out what was said.

[Level 1 Arthro]

[Skills: None]

[Survival Chance: Low to None]

[Age: 5 Minutes]

Things became a little bit more clear. This place had a sort of level system, and I am one of the newest additions to this unknown land. What scared me the most was my chance of survival always being plastered in my view, taunting me and reminding me of my mortality in this world. It was then that I promised that I would prove that stat wrong. I would survive in this mysterious new land. And to start that journey, I had to get out of my nest and explore this cave. As I began pushing myself to stand my new legs began to shake under my weight. Judging by my age stat, this was the first time I used these legs. After a few wobbly steps, I got the hang of it and began my exploration of this cave and the start of my survival.

As I made my way through the endless caverns something stood out to me. There were no enemies or other living things. Although that sounds good for my survival, it only puts me more on edge. I had no idea if I was actually alone or if I would meet my end by an ambush and lose the game early. At the end of the tunnel were two pathways leading in opposite directions. I studied both sides and noticed something on the ground of the left tunnel. Footprints. They seemed human and there appeared to be a group of them going in that direction. The other path seemed devoid of anything living going in that direction. However, the right tunnel appeared to be the safer choice since there were no enemies in that direction. I felt more compelled to go to the left toward this party of unknown humans. But…Why? As I was questioning this instinct I suddenly heard a cry come from the left tunnel. A cry that felt familiar and…in pain? Before I could fully comprehend what I just heard my body immediately began bolting down the left tunnel as fast as my multiple legs could carry. Whatever that cry was set off my instincts and I couldn't say no to them. The further I went down the tunnel, it slowly transformed from a cave to a labyrinth. And at the end of that labyrinth was a sight that left my body frozen. An Arthro about ten or even twenty times my size was in the middle of a large room. Its body was pitch black and it had been impaled by several swords which made blood spill onto the ground around it. The sight of this fellow spider in pain made my body have a physical reaction. I felt sick and I didn't even know why! Who was this!? And who were they to me? As I was asking these questions, the Arthro finally noticed my presence and looked down at me. Looking into its eyes I realized who this was. I was watching my mother die.

This prophecy looms over her like a dark cloud, growing bigger every year it does not come to pass. She exists in hushed rumors as a pitiful figure - fragile, meek, unwanted. Underneath that mask is a strong and feisty vixen worthy of being a queen. And this would-be queen has set her eyes on breaking her curse, even if that means tricking the most cunning vampire ever born. Nikolai, though reclusive and enigmatic, is revered by the Kingdom of Valcrez as a wise and powerful ruler. When these two find their paths crossed in a marriage alliance, the game of Crown's Seduction begins. But just who is the hunter and who is the prey? ******** Excerpt: “Why are you stripping naked in front of me?” she questioned with a frown, doing little to hide the irritation in her voice. Her goal was to capture only his heart, not his whole body! “Am I not allowed to have a bath with my wife?” he remarked with a cold tone. “I purposely asked for a big tub to just make sure that the two of us will fit in it together.” She sighed, not tearing her gaze away from him as she regained her composure. Seeing him smirk she forced herself to get comfortable as he spoke. “That’s more like it. You said it yourself that no one forced you into marrying me. Instead, you offered and volunteered yourself willingly for it, so I expect that you’ll be confident enough to share a bath with your husband,” Nikolai confidently stated. “After all, we’ll do more than this soon enough.” Shameless… Preventing herself from rolling her eyes, she managed to give him a smile as she said, “Don’t blame me if you die on me then.” **** Note: Volume 1: Main Story Status - Completed (Chapters 1 to 403) Volume 2: Side Story Status - Completed (Chapters 404 to 472) Volume 3: Side Story Status - Completed (Chapters 473 to 491) **** PS: Commissioned Book Cover owned by the Author! No one has come to greet you since your return. Could you please help us bring―” Orion tugged the woman back, protectively holding her in his embrace. Royal Secret: I'm a Princess!

After living as a famous Korean vlogger-slash-mukbanger, Neoma died a (shameful) death and regressed to her tragic first life--- the life where she has to live as a hidden princess with a tyrannical father and a yandere twin brother. She died at the hands of her psycho brother in her first life. But luckily, she charmed her "big brother" this time. Her father remains a sc*mbag, though. But a blessing in disguise happened when her twin brother got "sick." Because of that, she has to pretend as the "Crown Prince," forcing her father to treat her well. She thought she was finally on the road to becoming a lady of leisure. But, despite her laziness, she still ends up completing royal duties that put her closer to the throne than her sick twin brother. The next thing she knew, they already prophesied her to be the first empress of their very patriarchal empire. Now Neoma finds herself in the middle of the succession war she never wanted to be involved in! *** [EXCERPT 1] “Neoma de Moonasterio, the first princess of Moonasterion Empire. From now on, you’ll live as Prince Nero’s proxy.” [The hell is this psycho saying?] Neoma, despite her confusion, still smiled at her father--- the emperor. “Father, what do you mean by that?” “From now on, assassins sent by my enemies would target Nero,” the emperor explained. “Until he’s strong enough to protect himself, you’ll pose as your twin brother.” Her smile froze, but she still acted innocent. “But Father. If I take my brother’s position, then wouldn’t the assassins mistake me for him and…” She stopped talking when she realized that was exactly what the emperor wanted her to do. [This sc*mbag wants me to be bait?!] “You’re no longer a princess, Neoma de Moonasterio. From now on, you’ll live as Prince Nero de Moonasterio,” Emperor Nikolai said coldly while looking down at her with glowing red eyes. “Try to survive until your twin brother comes back to take his rightful place, understood?” Neoma was too shocked to react. [Are you f*cking kidding me, you sc*mbag?!] *** [ORIGINAL BOOK COVER. Artwork by sola_cola.] *** [EXCERPT 2] “I’m so sick of your tyrannical a*s,” Neoma yelled at her father aka the emperor. “I won’t forgive you for hurting Lewis and Tteokbokki!” “What will you do about it then?” Nikolai asked with a smirk. “Kill me?” “Yes! I’ll f*cking kill you, sc*mbag!” “Language,” he warned her, upset that his five-year-old daughter curses like a sailor. “Using vulgar words is unbecoming of the future Crown Prince.” “I’m a princess!” Upon yelling those words, the royal princess’s eye color changed from ash-gray to red. [This is getting serious.] “Stop it, Nero,” Nikolai told her sternly. “If you keep that up, the royal knights will come and–” “I’m not Nero!” Neoma screeched angrily. Then she jumped in the air with her left fist, ready to punch him. “In the name of the moon, I’ll punish you!” [What…?] And Princess Neoma, pretending as the Crown Prince for her sick twin brother, punched Emperor Nikolai, her father, in the face.
