Woken up by explorers. Our protagonists finds herself stranded on an unknown world with a memory drive missing. She is forced to stabilize herself before setting out in search of her memories.
In a dark cave ruin-like structure that has some unknown letters on the outside.
Two Humans are exploring it.
"I told you this was the cave of an ancient mage maybe from the era of gods." A man says
"Charles, we have been here a week and a half, and I still I don't recognize what any of these devices are..." Another man says, holding a floating orb of light in his hand lighting up the passageway around them.
"Hey, that's different from the rest of the walls of this place? Ooh, a secret room?" Charles says as he puts his hands to the door.
"I still don't trust this." James says looking around warily.
"Think of all the old magic we could find James." Charles says as he forces open the steel blast door in the wrong direction steel creaking as it bends to reveal the command deck of a ship.
"What is this place?" Charles asks as they arrive at a dust and sand covered room that looks much like the command room of an ocean-liner from the 22nd century of earth.
Skeletons are strewn about wearing what appears to be military uniforms grey and worn out.
"Wow, the Academy is gonna be super excited by this." Charles says as he touches what appears to be a desk wiping dust off.
Suddenly a clicking sound is heard. And it begins to speed up to a few thousand clicks per minute.
"..." James looks at Charles
"I doubt it still works. There is no way magic from the day that gods fell still works. That was several thousand years ago." Charles says laughing to himself as a robotic voice announces "emergency power activated."
"You were saying." James says as he takes a defensive stance.
"Intruder alert!" The room begins to glow red as a speaker crackles to life making horrible noises as it tries to play a siren before the speaker dies and it goes silent.
A hatch in the roof flips open dropping to the ground with a clank as a gun lowers itself.
"James..." Charles says looking at the mystery artifact
"On it!." James replies as a glowing blue wall appears between them and the gun.
There is a bang and a flash of light from the gun as the shield instantly shatters.
A hot piece of lead lodging itself in James's shoulder.
"It shattered your shield!?" Charles shouts in panic as 6 more bangs are heard killing the two intruders instantly; shortly thereafter the gun jams and rapidly disassembles itself, falling from its mount on the ceiling.
A holographic screen lights up on the desk that was touched by the explorer.
