In a post-apocalyptic world, civilization as we know it has crumbled, and the Earth is now a dangerous wasteland. Across the realm lie the abyss monsters, the source, root, and reason for humanity's downfall.
Millenniums have passed, and humanity has reverted to the stream era, yet the threat of the abyss monsters remains. However, the abyss forgers, humans who awakened the ability to make a pact with the abyss monsters, have managed to create a fragile balance. It remains unknown how long this balance would last, as the abyss monsters still outnumber humanity's forgers in strength and numbers.
Leonard Copper, a scavenger from a relatively small shelter, stumbled upon an abyss egg during one of his ventures. Abyss eggs were a rare find, as they were usually guarded by their mothers or hidden in dangerous locations.
However, Leonard never expected to make a pact with the creature in the egg due to a turn of events. The most significant revelation occurred when the monster turned out to be a dragon.
