Saleen and his party massacred tens of thousands of demi-angels in the Abyss of Light. Saleen could not be bothered to use Thundering Sound to purify these pitiful creatures. Even after purification, they would still not become the disciples of any god.

On the contrary, the demi-angels' nightmare would continue. It would continue even after death.

Saleen regretted not bringing Nailisi along. Her Purgatory of Purification could have made these demi-angels disappear. Without the presence of a god, the divine kingdom Fycro had promised them could not exist. In other words, after these demi-angels died in battle, they would continue to exist in this Abyss of Light, whether their souls were complete or not.

It was a futile effort. These demi-angels were hoping to end it all in Saleen's hands.
