Revenge

[ Morning ]

Travis and Mariana were sprawled across the bed, their bodies entwined in a tangled mess of sweat and other lingering traces of their passion. The air was thick with the remnants of last night's wild encounter. Both had experienced their first times, and while many might gripe about how awkward or painful their first experiences could be, neither could relate. They had discovered a new level of connection and pleasure, a shared intensity that left them both breathless, as if the night had unfolded in a haze of heat and need.

Travis woke from his slumber with the weight of contentment pressing down on him, his body still heavy with the aftershocks of their love. As soon as his eyes fluttered open, he saw Mariana beside him, her bare form relaxed and peaceful, the rise and fall of her chest slow and steady. The sight of her, so vulnerable and serene, brought a smile to his lips. He couldn't help but admire how beautiful she was, even in her sleep.

'Man, who would've thought I'd lose my virginity to a hot girl like her?' he thought, his heart swelling with gratitude and disbelief.

Mariana was, without a doubt, the most stunning girl he had seen in years. Her long, flowing brown hair cascaded down her back in soft waves, framing her face like a work of art. Her green eyes—though closed now—were like twin emeralds, captivating in their depth. And her body? Curvaceous, sculpted, a shape that could easily make anyone pause in awe. She was perfect, a goddess in his eyes.

'Shit, I need to piss,' he realized suddenly.

Quietly, so as not to wake her, he slipped out of bed and padded around the apartment in search of the bathroom. As he passed a mirror on the way, he couldn't resist a quick glance at his reflection. But what he saw stopped him dead in his tracks.

"What the hell happened to my eyes?" he muttered to himself.

His reflection was unfamiliar. His eyes were now a striking shade of purple, the irises gleaming with an intensity he couldn't explain. His face had changed too—sharper, more defined, symmetrical in a way that made him look almost...otherworldly. He ran his fingers along his jawline, marveling at how smooth and angular it had become.

His body, too, had undergone a transformation. Where there had once been softness, there was now a lean musculature. He wasn't huge, but his muscles were noticeable, taut and well-defined, like he had been sculpted overnight. He stared at his reflection in disbelief, feeling as though he had just stepped out of a dream.

'Is this part of the contract with Mariana?' he wondered, his mind racing with questions that had no immediate answers.

Deciding to push the bizarre thoughts aside for the moment, Travis finished his business and stepped into the shower. He turned on the water, feeling the hot spray against his skin, letting it wash away the remnants of sleep and confusion. It had been a long time since he had treated himself to a proper bath, and the warmth of the water felt soothing against his muscles.

Meanwhile, Mariana stirred in bed, blinking away the sleep from her eyes. She stretched, her body arching gracefully, before her gaze landed on the empty spot beside her. A small frown tugged at her lips before she sat up, her body moving fluidly as she reached for a nearby robe. The sound of running water from the bathroom drew her attention, and she smiled knowingly.

Mariana rose and made her way toward the sound, her bare feet silent against the floor. She peeked into the bathroom, her gaze immediately landing on Travis, who was in the middle of a relaxing bath. The sight of him, his body sleek and wet, brought an unexpected warmth to her chest.

She leaned against the doorframe, a soft smile spreading across her lips as she watched him. There was something about him—something different now—and it made her heart flutter in a way she hadn't expected. She was drawn to him in ways she couldn't explain.

"You're already awake?" Mariana asked, her voice low and casual as she sat down on the toilet, her body relaxed as she relieved herself.

"Yeah, I am. How'd you sleep?" Travis asked, sinking back into the bath, the water still steaming around him.

"I mean, I've had better sleep before, but I think that was the best I've had in a while. Maybe that's because I had my hubby right next to me," she said, her words teasing, but there was a softness in her voice that made Travis' heart beat a little faster.

Travis chuckled, leaning back and running a hand through his damp hair. "Maybe so. Now, tell me. What is this contract you were talking about?"

"Oh yeah, almost forgot. Well, it's a contract between me and you that grants you my power for sex," she said, almost nonchalantly, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

"The fuck? Is that all? Aren't you going to go into detail?" he asked, bewildered.

"What else do you want me to say? I personally think that explains it well enough," she replied, shrugging as she relaxed against the wall.

Travis sighed, the weight of her vague response settling in. He could already tell this would be a headache. "Okay, what powers do you have then?"

"Well, I am the Goddess of Lust and Pleasure, so I'm sure you understand where I'm going with this. Don't worry, you're also stronger now, so go have street fights or whatever," she said with a wink.

"Wow, you're so vague. We're really going to fix that," he said, shaking his head, but there was a hint of amusement in his voice.

Mariana smiled. She stood up and stepped into the bath, settling herself on his chest, her body pressed against his in a way that made his heart race. "I wonder how you're going to fix that," she said softly, her voice laced with challenge and curiosity.

Travis couldn't help but feel his heart skip a beat. ' Man, why does she have to be so hot? ' he thought, his chest tightening at the proximity between them.

"Oh, thank you. By the way, we're connected, so I can hear your thoughts. Also, we'll have to have sex at least three times a week for the contract to hold," she added, her lips brushing against his ear.

"What if we don't?" he asked, the thought lingering in the back of his mind.

"You do not want to know the answer to that question," she said, her tone serious, though a playful smirk tugged at her lips.

After some time, they got out of the bath, and as Travis dried off, he glanced around the apartment. It was surprisingly large. He didn't bother asking how she managed to afford it, knowing he'd get some vague, unhelpful answer. Mariana made them both food, and they settled in front of the TV, the flickering screen casting light over them.

"So, um, what now?" Travis asked, turning to her as the silence hung in the air.

"Well, what is it you said you'd do the day you got out of jail?" Mariana asked with a knowing look, just as the TV shifted to show the six youngest entrepreneurs on the rise.

The moment Travis saw their faces, his blood ran cold. Rage filled his body, hot and consuming. They were all so familiar to him, and the anger burned through his veins like wildfire. Mariana noticed his sudden shift, her smile widening.

"I said I'd kill them," he muttered, his voice low but filled with a dangerous edge.

"Yes, but what if you do something else instead of killing them?" she asked, her voice steady, yet her eyes glinted with mischief.

He turned towards her, his gaze sharp with curiosity. "What do you have in mind?"

Mariana sat up slightly, her hand resting on his thigh, her fingers tracing light patterns over his skin. "Well, think about it, babe. These six were living the time of their lives while you were suffering in prison. Killing them would be good, but it isn't enough. Honestly, I think death is too good for them. So, why don't we simply ruin their lives?" she said, her voice dripping with satisfaction at the thought.

Hearing that, Travis began to smile. She's right. They don't deserve death. Killing them slowly is way better, he thought, his grin widening.

"That's a great idea. What did you have in mind?" he asked, already feeling the wheels in his mind begin to turn.

Mariana smirked, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Well, nothing at the moment. I was hoping you'd think of something for yourself," she said, her voice teasing, almost daring him to take the lead.

When he heard that, Travis smiled, as many ideas flooded his mind. It was now time for him to get back at his dear friends.
