Chapter 3: The sand that materializes dreams

Awakening my quirk was a bit of a special experience, after waking up I could feel an energy inside me that wasn't there before and trying to control it I could feel and see how a large amount of sand materialized, although I would have liked to explore more my mother entered the room and quickly took me in the car to take me to a friend of hers who specialized in peculiar analysis.

My journey on the road was trying to explore that special energy inside my body, according to what the entity had told me before reincarnating this energy has a limit that can grow with me the more I use it and my reach will be proportional to my ability to control it.

The sand that materialized when this energy slowly came out of my body was a golden color, I could continue to control the sand, but my reach for now only took little complex shapes like cubes that did not have a very firm structure.

Before I could continue practicing, my mother took me by the arm and led me into the doctor's office, a friend of hers. To my great dismay, I had to do some tests, such as explaining how I felt when I activated my quirk, demonstrating what I could do with the little control I had at the moment, and trying other things with the sand.

The news received was actually something that my parents celebrated upon hearing, since I had previously said that I would like to be a hero, although my apathy for boys when they talked about heroes was explained because they only talked about those topics.

During this time I was also able to spend more time with Reiko and get to know each other better, although I would say that the relationship still needs time to gain serious trust, little Reiko no longer hides behind her mother and usually talks to me normally when we are playing.

I am excited to now be able to have my quirk in my possession, although most of my powers are hidden within it, reaching an understanding of a quirk based on the character of Sandman is not something that can be understood from one day to the next.

First the only thing I can do is explore above while trying to control the shape of my sand and refine the range I can master, since with this my energy reserves will grow faster and I will be able to have greater range in my abilities.

Although taking into account the abilities of the sandman from the origin of the guardians, I took the opportunity to try once Reiko stayed to sleep to try something.

-Well let's see - I say manipulating a large amount of sand that I released when Reiko was asleep, although suddenly I felt a new sensation in my energy.

The energy began to drain quickly from my body while the sand quickly formed around me slowly taking more complex shapes that I had not been able to achieve before, it also took on different colors and changed its properties.

A pine forest formed around me as the floor transformed into a path, an aurora borealis appeared on the ceiling and the night sky appeared letting me see how everything around me transformed into Reiko's dream, although with this effect I could feel the energy running out quickly.

-This is even bigger and more special than the sandman I remembered- I said feeling how the humidity of the environment changed and I heard the sounds of the forest like the leaves moving, the crickets and the wind moving quickly- the only problem is the excessive consumption of all this ability.

-This sand really is the embodiment of dreams- I say moving around the place that was even bigger than what my room was- all this is Reiko's dream, I can see how it is bigger than the space of my room as if it were a different space.

-It's a pity that my energy is limited- I said feeling my energy almost running out- I have to replicate this and let the dream become my reality.
