"Oh, I just felt like dropping by," he shrugged nonchalantly.

"Is there something you need?" Mei continued, probing for his motives.

"Not much, really. I just wanted to stop by before I leave the Land of Water," Yi replied smoothly. "Before going, I wanted to check on my dear wife and see how she's doing!"

Mei rolled her eyes, exasperated. "You took that joke seriously?"

"Hey, don't go back on your word now, Mizukage!" Yi grinned, his eyes glinting with mischief. "You did say that when I grow up, you'd marry me!"

He moved closer, his gaze intense.

"Are you mocking me?" Mei replied, irritation flashing in her eyes.

Just as she prepared to dismiss him, Yi moved swiftly, closing the distance between them.

"I'll take your first kiss as a parting gift," he whispered. "Wait for me, my dear wife!"

And with a playful smirk, he leaned in and gently kissed her cheek.
