"Grandpa Chen, I've brought back all the herbs."
In the Half Mountain Small Courtyard, Lu Qing, slightly out of breath, showed the medicine basket to Old Doctor Chen.
After digging up the cow bone grass, he had sprinted all the way back, worried that he wouldn't make it in time.
The elder doctor glanced at the herbs in the basket and nodded in approval.
"Not bad, not bad. You've really managed to gather all of these herbs."
"Grandpa Chen, what do you mean by that?" Lu Qing asked with some confusion.
The elder doctor seemed to harbor deeper meaning in his words.
"Do you know why I set the scope of the assessment around the village?" the elder doctor asked.
"No, I don't." Lu Qing shook his head.
