Chapter 30: The Bombshell

The next day at the office, Jesse had come up to check up on Emily as it is usual with him. Throughout the night, Emily had been pondering on those things Jesse told her about Liam and his family and felt the need to interrogate him based on that.

"The things you told me yesterday, are you sure these things are really happening in the life of Liam, or they are cooked up by you?" Emily asked, with a weird look in her eyes.

"Of course, it is. Whatever tea you want concerning that family,juat ask me. I've got you covered," he told her, winking his eyes.

"Hmm, anyway, I didn't peg you to be such a gossip. Why would you think I am interested in knowing anything about them? Whatever they do or they don't do is none of my business, I'm only concerned about giving them the job they applied for and that they should perform perfectly well and avoid me the rest of my time, that's all."
