124 Mr. Hale: Do you regret meeting me?

William Hale had just arrived home when he heard that Zoe Bell had been bitten by a hamster. Logan Hale had given her simple treatment—squeezing out blood, rinsing with water, and disinfecting with alcohol—before taking her to the hospital.

Hamsters don't carry rabies, but the older Hale couple were still worried, so they had Logan take her out for a tetanus shot.

"Which hospital?" William frowned. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Zoe said you were at work and not to disturb you."

William wanted to go out but was stopped.

"They're probably on their way back home now; just be patient."

William didn't say anything else.

However, Old Sir Hale noticed that his usually calm and collected eldest grandson was particularly unsettled today, anxiously fidgeting with his tie and rolling up his sleeves, pacing back and forth in the front hall.

"It's nothing serious; it's just a small cut. Look how worried you are."

He was pacing back and forth in front of him, making him feel dizzy.
