How to do your ex's angiography

Raphael Morgan. His 20s ex. That man was, in simple words, walking sin. With the body of a male Greek god and a face like the devil incarnate. He has perfectly arched eyebrows, honey brown eyes which were more often than not glinting with a subtle hint of condescension and superiority.

Even when he was a law student only, he had an attitude and confidence to match the jury of the supreme court. His light brown hair were almost always impeccably styled, and his voice. Oh his voice. Elias couldn't help the slight shiver that went through his spine when he thought of the absolute sinful sound that was this man's voice. It was deep, with a slight posh drawl, and- the way it sounded hoarse in the morning...

Max said something, and Elias' attention turned back to the situation at hand. He nodded slowly, his expression calm and his voice still level. "Keep the patient stable for now. Don't let him go into another arrest."

One of the residents then spoke up, calling out, "Angiography is ready!"

He shook his head internally, trying to internally slap himself. No, Elias- focus. Focus. You're not a university student anymore. You're not having backbreaking sex with this absolute temptation of a man anymore. No. This man is dying, you're his doctor. That's it. You're seeing his insides now, in a different sense, not the other way round and you're going to keep it that way.

The procedure was fast, but Elias worked carefully, paying close attention to the images on the screen, as he guided the catheter to the coronary artery. He was meticulous and precise, his mind completely focused on the task at hand.

The only sounds were the occasional orders he gave to the residents and the low hum of the equipment in the room. His outward calmness gave nothing of his inner turmoil and embarassment away.

He expertly navigated the catheter through the heart, finally reaching the blockage. He could see it clearly on the screen, the image of the coronary artery, partially blocked by a blood clot. Ah, so it was that.

"Thrombus. I'm going to need the thrombus extraction catheter."

One of the residents quickly passed him the requested catheter. He took a moment to check the placement of the catheter before proceeding. With steady hands, he maneuvered the catheter to the thrombus. He could feel his own heart rate starting to pick up, the adrenaline coursing through his body as he focused on the delicate task at hand. This was Raphael...the man he had spent so many night with. For a whole year. In hotel suites, dorm rooms, parties. The place or occassion didn't matter- the past them could be in a shady bar bathroom cubicle and Raphael could make him feel like he's on the altar himself. Of God or devil was...debatable.

Finally, the catheter was correctly positioned, and he began to gently extracting the thrombus, slowly and meticulously.

As he withdrew the thrombus, he checked the images on the screen, making sure that the blood flow was fully restored. The tension in the room was palpable, all eyes were on Elias as he worked. After what felt like an eternity, but in reality, was only a couple of minutes, he extracted the thrombus and took a step back.

"I've got it. Good blood flow restored."

Of course, he knew just how good that man's bloodflow was. Especially...down there, where he was quite...well endowed. Ahem, he's getting distracted again. The fact that he realised who the man was from his genitals and not his face should be telling enough how physical their relationship was.
