As Alex completed a full sweep of the area and returned, Mason and the others had only just arrived at their destination. The stark contrast in speed left the entire group at a loss for words.

With his overwhelming boost in strength, Alex didn't even bother equipping the full **Dragon God** set. Today, he only used the **Dragon God's Wings** and **Belos Bane**, along with the **Champion's Armor**. But to everyone's shock, Alex's speed at clearing out monsters had become even more terrifying than the day before.

Even without the added bonuses from the **Dragon God's Might**, the upgraded **Dragon Flame** ability with its enhanced cooldown and explosive damage made Alex's attacks unstoppable. His speed and power had grown so drastically that even the weakest monsters fled in terror.

By the time Alex finished clearing the outer perimeter of the first resource point, Mason and the others had barely scratched the surface of their assigned tasks. Even the once fearsome Boss-level **Belos Lords** seemed laughably weak in the face of Alex's relentless onslaught.

The team worked hard, but it was clear that Alex was doing the bulk of the work. At times, it felt as if they were just playing catch-up with him. While Alex cleared out 70% of the enemies in under five minutes, Jessica and the others struggled with the remaining 30%.

One notable problem was that, due to Alex's skyrocketing attributes, he no longer gained any experience from defeating these "lower-level" monsters. No matter how many **Belos** creatures he vanquished, even the Bosses, his level stayed the same. This realization frustrated Alex. Yesterday, he had leveled up over a hundred times, and now, not a single percent of experience gained? It was a major blow.

"I can't believe this," Alex sighed as the rest of the group finished clearing out the stragglers. "I'm not getting any more experience from killing these Bosses. From now on, you guys should take care of them."

The group exchanged awkward glances. Jessica and the others were happy about Alex's offer, but it also made them painfully aware of the widening gap in their strengths. What kind of absurd power level had Alex reached if Boss-level monsters weren't even worth his time anymore?

With this new strategy in mind, Alex took the lead in clearing out the monsters and left the Boss fights for Mason, Chris, and the others. The plan worked, and the group became more efficient as they moved from one resource point to the next. Still, the speed difference between Alex and his teammates remained staggering. The group often felt like they were just barely keeping up with Alex's unrelenting pace.

By the time they cleared 18 resource points, it wasn't even lunchtime yet. With time to spare, Alex decided to rest and recover for a while. But it wasn't long before they received news that one of the resource points had been reclaimed by **Belos** monsters, transforming it into a monster nest. That meant it was time for Alex and his team to gear up again for another round of clearing.

As the team discussed the best course of action, Alex suddenly expressed his desire to visit the mysterious **Sky Fortress** they had spotted in the distance. It was an **R-level** resource point and, more intriguingly, a legendary **Inheritance Point**.

While the team was eager to join him, Jessica volunteered to accompany Alex, citing safety concerns. "We're just going to scout it out for now," she reasoned. "If it's not too dangerous, we can return later with the whole group."

Her argument made sense, and the group eventually agreed. Alex and Jessica prepared to explore the fortress, while the rest of the team stuck to their assigned tasks, occupying the resource points they had captured earlier.

The **Sky Fortress** loomed large, a massive structure surrounded by crackling storm clouds, visible even from miles away. As Alex and Jessica approached, its sheer size became overwhelming—it was larger than even **East Sea City** itself.

Suspended high in the sky, the fortress floated ominously at an altitude of at least 3,000 meters. It cast a vast shadow over the land below, like a dark cloud blocking out the sun. The ancient atmosphere of the fortress only added to its eerie, foreboding presence.

As they flew closer, Alex and Jessica realized that the **Sky Fortress** wasn't what they had expected. It looked less like a traditional city and more like a massive, floating mountain. Carved out of the stone were tunnels and chambers, giving it the appearance of a colossal nest.

"This doesn't really look like a city at all," Alex remarked as they landed in front of a towering stone gate that dwarfed even the largest **N-level** resource points. "I guess it makes sense. Ethan did say this was the **Sky Serpent's** Inheritance Point."

Jessica shot him a side-eye, disappointed at the lack of grandeur she had hoped for. "I was expecting something a little more impressive," she muttered.

As they reached the gate, the system notified them of a new mission—a **B-level** quest, much higher than the usual **D-level** tasks they'd seen before.

*Description*: Deep within the **Sky Fortress** lies the offspring of the **Sky Serpent** bloodline. Legends speak of a powerful inheritance sealed in the void at the heart of the fortress, where the most powerful **Sky Serpent King** once ruled. This is an opportunity filled with both danger and reward. 

*Objectives*: Defeat the Guardian Boss, the **Sky Wyrm**, and claim the resource point. 

**Subtasks**: 

1. Defeat 10 N-level Sky Serpent Offspring (0/10) 

2. Defeat 3 R-level Sky Serpent Offspring (0/3) 

3. Find and activate the **Sky Serpent King's** Inheritance (Progress: 0%) 

4. Defeat the Sky Wyrm, the Guardian Boss.

The structure of the quest was similar to the **N-level** resource points they had tackled before, but the fact that no specific monster names were listed left Alex wondering what kinds of creatures lay in wait inside the **Sky Fortress**.
