Raymond parked the car outside Sebastian's house, the engine purring softly. "You can go out now." He nudged to the door.
Charlotte shifted in her seat, confused, "Aren't we going to go inside?" she asked, her brow furrowing.
Raymond smiled quickly, "Nah. I have some appointments. You should go inside. Don't worry, I already told him you're coming."
He leaned over, opening the door for her.
Charlotte's voice trailed off. "Oh... Okay."
She stepped out of the car, her eyes lingering on Raymond.
"Good luck!" he exclaimed, his voice cheerful.
In an instant, he was back in his car, starting the engine. The tires screeched softly as he drove away.
"This will be interesting," he muttered, a mischievous smile spreading across his face.
Charlotte gazed around, unsure of what to do next. The darkness seemed to swallow her whole, and the silence was dense.
