LIAM

I had just left an important meeting with a potential business partner who had canceled at the last minute, claiming to be under the weather. Frustrating, but manageable. What I didn't expect was to step out into the restaurant and find Ines, Adan's girlfriend, causing a public spectacle. 

Worse still, she was attacking Renee—someone we could be working with on a major funding deal for my company. It was embarrassing, unprofessional, and frankly, unacceptable.

How could Adan be so clueless and stupid? He should have known better than to let things spiral out of control like this. "Liam…" he called out, his voice filled with nervousness as his eyes flickered between me and Renee, who had blood running down her forehead. "I'm handling the situation."
