Seraph gnawed at her lips as she tried to keep in the tears that was bubbling within her. She had fallen off a cliff in the commotion of the rogue attack, and that had marked the last time she had seen the Theta.
Looking around her at their companions who were bloodied and battered, knowing who to trust and who to not trust became increasingly hard. She could swear that it was only Ablanch and the Alpha Prince Falcon that had made an attempt to protect the Theta. Even the Temple Knights that Elder Sybril had secured for them were much interested in protecting themselves against protecting the Theta.
They made no obvious move to shield the Theta in the inferno of the Rogue attack. That fact made Seraph hesitant on who to speak to and ask for help.
Seraph moved to Alpha Prince Falcon who was shouting orders to his subordinates that were bruised and battered beyond recognition.
