"Fuck me!"

Michael slapped his forehead when he saw the flag being raised. He was so concerned about getting to the cross that he didn't monitor his positioning. Come to think of it, he had to rush past the center backs to get to the ball. How was he offside then?

He turned to his teammates and realized they were all thinking the same thing. Archie had even gone to the referee to talk to him about the disallowed goal.

"Hey ref!" Archie called out to the referee. "How's that goal offside?"

"I don't know, kid." The referee shrugged. "If you want to talk to someone, why don't you go ask Pete over there?" He nudged his head towards the linesman, who still had his flag raised. "He's the one who called the goal offside."

"But you can change the decision," Archie pressed. "I mean, that goal clearly wasn't offside. How is he offside if he moves from behind the defenders?"
