Septima Vector often blamed her prudish nature for her eternal single life. She was a great witch and a pure maiden at heart. Her way of viewing romance was quite conservative, so she shied away from any intimate activities until she found the one. The moment never came, making her a Christmas cake by the time she knew it.

She had entirely given up on romance and thus focused herself on Arithmancy. Even though she craved intimacy sometimes, Arithmancy still filled a great part of the hole in her heart. Imagine her surprise when the most handsome student in Hogwarts and one of the hottest wizards to ever live entered her quarter asking her to be his date.

"I am not in the mood for a joke, Mr Potter," was her curt response. "You don't have to continue your stupid bet with your friends. At the end of this, the bet shall be nonexistent and points will be deducted accordingly."

She was quite disappointed that she was disappointed Harry Potter was just teasing her. How desperate was she to even think about coming to the Yule Ball with a student? She was about to shoo Harry away when she saw his smile. Her body froze as he inched closer. The way he ravaged her with his eyes made her squeamish…in a sensual way.

"Is that rejection what I heard, Professor?" Harry said huskily as he put his hand on her desk and leaned forward. Septima instinctively cowered as she looked up at him. "I came here to ask a hot, mature witch to become my date. I don't break a maiden's heart for a bet. I am asking you to be my date because I want to have a good time with you. What say you?"

Harry's intoxicating smell and his domineering presence were too much for her. She was so used to instilling discipline into people that being dominated made her brain turn to mush. That way, she found herself standing beside the young heartthrob Harry Potter outside the Great Hall. The gazes on her made her self-conscious, but she hid it behind her stoic visage.

"You should have told me if you couldn't get a date, Harry," Fleur said with a scrunched-up nose. "I wouldn't have gone with him if I did," she gestured at her date, Ravenclaw's Quidditch Captain, Roger Davis. The poor bloke could only smile wryly.

"Now, Fleur, the gorgeous Miss Vector here is my date in case you can't tell," Harry scolded her with amusement. "Also, our dates wouldn't stop us from having a dance. Don't get your panties in a twist. Let me do it for you."

"Oh, I will…"

The coy look Harry and Fleur traded made their respective date uncomfortable. While Fleur didn't care about what Roger's feeling, Harry didn't want to upset his date.

Bending down, he whispered into Septima's ear, "I want you to know I find you very gorgeous tonight, Septima. Not that you don't look gorgeous normally, but you look exceptional tonight."

Harry's warm breath which tickled her sensitive neck and his sincere praise made Septima's cheeks warm. She was glad that her effort of looking good was appreciated. She went with a V-neck red gown that parted above her knee. Her wavy lustrous auburn hair was let loose beautifully. To accentuate her perky behind, she was wearing a pair of red heels.

"Thank you," Septima shyly whispered.

When Dumbledore came to make sure the Champions were ready, he looked at Septima in amusement. The witch avoided his gaze, retreating further into Harry's hold. Fortunately for Septima, he was not a tease. Though, admittedly, Dumbledore was tempted to tease her. However, it was not wise to provoke your subordinate's ire.

"I assume the Champions are ready," Dumbledore remarked, earning a nod from the three Champions. "Very well." Dumbledore opened the door to the Great Hall and announced, "Everyone, our Champions!"

Harry entered first with Septima on his side. He gazed around the room with an apathetic but domineering gaze. Everyone gawked at Harry's date, causing Septima to put up her Occlumency shield. Her strict façade would crumble without the help of her Occlumency. Even though she was used to the students' attention, this one was different, so she couldn't help but get nervous.

"Blimey, the bloke did it! I can't believe it," Ron exclaimed in amazement.

"Shut up, Ron," Charlus sighed.

"But, wait, is that Hermione? Why is she with Viktor Krum!?"

Charlus covered his face with his hand. His tactless friend paid more attention to other's dates than he did to his. He had to slap the dimwit to get him to pay attention to Lavender. Naturally, he also didn't forget to pay attention to his date, Susan Bones. The quiet girl was the only interested girl whose company he could enjoy.

At the Champions' table, Lily's gaze was planted on Harry. She watched him whispering with Septima and had to force down her displeasure. She had refused Harry's invitation so he could take someone his age to the ball. Had she known he would still take an older woman, she wouldn't have refused.

Their eyes met and a faint smirk grazed his face. She would have scowled if she didn't have her Occlumency shield.

Cheeky brat.

Dumbledore clapped his hands and said his order. With a flash, his order appeared on his table. He encouraged everyone to do the same and they immediately followed suit. The table was soon filled with food. Talks ensued over the table. Lily was caught up in a talk with Ludo about James. She could only watch uncomfortably as Harry whispered sweet-nothings to Septima's ears. The wench didn't even try to hide her blush, Lily noted.

When the Weird Sisters took their position, the Champions got to the stage. The opening dance soon commenced. Lily watched stoically as Septima shyly leaned into Harry's embrace. A part of her was irritated she let Harry manhandle, but she mostly wished she was in Septima's position. If she didn't care about her image, she would have bitten her handkerchief in envy.

When the opening dance concluded, Septima leaned into Harry's neck and said something. Harry smiled and whispered a response. Lily strongly believed it was a sweet-nothing. Harry escorted Septima back to the table. Lily internally smirked as she was sure Harry would ask her to dance.

"Care for a dance, Mademoiselle?"

"The pleasure is mine, Monsieur."

Lily's mouth twitched. She had to fortify her Occlumency shield as Harry took Fleur to the dance floor, lest she would shout in frustration.

"A popular young man, isn't he?" Dumbledore remarked mirthfully.

"Why, yes. He is handsome, after all," Lily responded neutrally.

"And cunning too. Now, we have to think about whom we should choose to kidnap," Dumbledore added.

Oh, there is that too…

Lily suddenly didn't feel that bad after realizing Harry might be trying to cheat the system. It was sneaky, but nothing would change. Harry had to dive into the black lake regardless. With that said, she could live without seeing Harry kiss the Veela on the dance floor. They kept it innocent, but she could tell from their movements that they had done something more outrageous.

The dance ended and Harry separated from Fleur. Other girls immediately surrounded him despite what they had seen earlier. That might be the reason why they wanted to dance with him. Lily had enough. She accepted that Harry would never dance with her. She stood up and left the Great Hall, ignoring Severus who was about to ask her for a dance.

Having lost the festive mood, Lily decided to return to her quarter. She had long accepted her unhealthy obsession with her young man. It didn't weird her out how jealous she felt of witches. She knew she deserved it, though. She shouldn't have refused Harry's invitation if she didn't want to see him getting chummy with other witches.

So occupied with her thoughts that Lily didn't realize someone was following her until that person pinned her against the wall. She was about to scream when the man sealed her mouth with his.

"Hm!" came her muffled response.

Her panic immediately disappeared. She recognized the person's taste. As her eyes took in the magnificent appearance of the person, she melted to his touch.

"Harry," she moaned.

Harry let go of her hands and wrapped his arms around her waist. She wrapped her arms around his neck and buried her face in his chest.

"Miss me?" Harry teasingly said.

"You have done a very bad thing," Lily intoned. "You shouldn't have come. You should have let me wallow in jealousy. This forbidden relationship of ours will bear nothing good. It will only hurt you in the long run."

"Why am I the only one getting hurt?" Harry asked curiously.

"Because I am a jealous witch. And a jealous witch is poisonous," Lily warned.

"What a coincidence. I am immune to poison," Harry chuckled huskily.

Lily shivered as Harry nibbled on her neck. She clamped her legs, trying to settle down the itch that her growing hot groin caused.

"Let's move somewhere else, shall we?"

Lily only let out a whimper. She was too full of lust to properly function.
