Chapter 46: Only I Am Allowed

The doctor's calm answer made Kylian feel a bit assured, even though nervous palpitations had been running through his body until a moment ago. The pained sting of betrayal his heart unknowingly felt while doubting Zenith subsided a little when the doctor justified the reason behind his actions. 

However, Kylian coldly glanced at Zenith's keen face once, and even though he was still irked at his methods of bringing him here, he didn't refuse the doctor from cooperating this time, "Fine, I will get done with the physical examination." 

It seemed Zenith wasn't expecting him to give in so soon as his answer made him squint his orbs at Kylian. But before he could intervene, the doctor calmly smiled at Kylian, as he started putting on his gloves, "You did make the right choice, Kylian. Do not fret, I am the only one who is aware of your secret, so you will be absolutely safe here."
