Note: This Diana didn't meet Steve Trevor. Diana had already killed Ares and this arc is from Wonder Woman: Bloodlines in DCAMU.

"Great Hera! Give me strength to end this vile beast!" Princess Diana cried out as she marked her target and began to descend at such speed her body was on fire and her armour burnt until all she wore appeared as a skimpy outfit. That wasn't her concern on an island of women but to stop the chaos that unfolded before her very eyes.

Landing on the giant's head with her fists outstretched to meet him caused a small explosion on impact, blasting several warriors and demons away, ultimately halting every ongoing fight on the island.

"By Hera, I have defeated one of you. You are next!" Diana said as she picked up a blood-stained sword on the ground and pointed it at the giant her mother was battling. Diana looked roughened up, dirty with light bruises on her tough skin.

"That would have been the case if we were normal. But we are direct servants of the most powerful demon and ruler of Azarath…" a deep voice echoed behind a surprised Diana, whose eyes widened with shock!

"Trigon! Azaroth…" The giant behind Diana chanted and released a deadly beam that cratered the ground.

Diana was quick enough to evade.

"By the gods! What is this abomination!" Diana cried out but heard a faint familiar voice calling for her.

Diana turned and found her mother barely holding her own against the giant and her elite guards stomped to inhumane paste.

"Mother!" Diana cried out.

"Bold of you to ignore me!" The giant fighting Diana said as he smacked her but smacked air instead.

"You will die by my hands, demon!" Diana cried out, appearing behind the giant with super speed and bringing down her fists on the neck of the demon. A loud cracking sound could be heard as the demon fell to its knees.

"Diana, quick! Go and don the armour!" her mother warned as she dodged a blow from the red-furred giant groggily, almost getting hit by the demon. By now even more lesser demons were coming out of the portal to tip the favour of the battle in their sides.

"Now…" her mother urged as she spat blood on the floor and stabbed a demon at her back without even looking, ending the demon's life in one strike while keeping her eyes on the red-furred giant.

"Alright, mother!" Diana agreed and left to get the armour.

"Is this your doing, Ares? Is this your revenge from the underworld? I guess I will be meeting you!" Queen Hippolyta screamed as she jumped high enough to meet the giant in its face.

"Where do you think you are going?" Diana was pulled back mid-flight and slammed heavily on the ground, causing another crater.

"Ugh." Diana rubbed her head as she got up and parried a punch from the giant she thought she killed earlier.

"Huh?" The giant looked surprised seeing its arm being flung out of the way, creating an opening for Wonder Woman to strike.

A dark beam escaped its mouth, hitting Diana head-on.

"How was that?" The giant asked and began punching Diana as the whole island trembled with each blow.

"What's happening?" Diana asked as she got up again groggily.

"I think it's something unorthodox." Diana's mother jumped in and blocked a punch from the giant, saving Diana.

She coughed more blood as she crouched beside Diana.

"How are the others doing?" Diana asked, helping her mother up and taking a battle stance as the red-furred giant joined the former giant.

"Finally figured it out?" The red-furred giant finally spoke with a glint in its goat eyes.

"We absorb your powers with every exchange! And we are immortal beings! We will be your last opponents, Amazons!" The giant who fought Diana said and released another beam from its mouth causing the mother-daughter duo to split and evade.

Without talking to each other, the mother-daughter duo smiled at each other and switched their opponents.

"NOW!" Diana's mother said as both of them attacked their opponents at once, confusing the giants for a while until the Amazon duo moved swiftly behind the red-furred giant.

"HUH???" The red-furred giant uttered, sensing the imminent danger.

Diana's mother touched the sword Diana wielded, creating a faint glow on it as they dived towards the red-furred giant's neck.

"For Themyscira!" Diana's mother screamed as her face grew pale and the light on Diana's sword brightened.

The Amazon duo held the sword at the hilt together and zipped past the red-furred giant who covered its neck with its arms after they had already passed him.

Seeing that the Amazon duo were catching their breath after that attack made the red-furred giant smile as it turned to approach them, it wondered why it was diving head first to meet them when it was just moving towards them.

It wasn't until the red-furred demon figured out it couldn't control or move its head because its head was decapitated. All light left its eyes as the other giant looked warily at the Amazon duo.

"What was that?" Diana asked as her mother leaned on her for support.

"It's a technique that gods can use to kill immortal beings. They use a bit of their core energy and imbibe it into a spell, weapon, or item to kill their enemy. It's not as tasking for gods as it is for humans," Queen Hippolyta said, her face getting paler by the second.

"Damn it!" Diana cursed, her aura becoming overwhelming as she looked at the remaining giant who staggered backwards.

"Wait! Wait a minute!" The giant pleaded but found a hole in its chest.

It looked back to check on Diana but only found her mother resting on a half-broken pillar... but no Diana!

It looked around itself until another hole was made in its head causing the giant to fall.

Diana used super speed to take out her target but knew she needed to learn that technique from her mother or her efforts would be useless and the giant would only get stronger.

She was too angry to just let the giant be, hence her fury making her ignore what the giant said about itself earlier.
