Chapter 36: Dimensional Dilemmas
Zed's mind buzzed with activity as the cold Analyst mode of the Dimensional Simulator materialized its interface. A translucent panel hovered before his eyes, its edges shimmering with an otherworldly glow. At the top, two critical metrics glared at him: Dimensional Points, a disheartening zero, and Dimensional Energy, a meager three.
His fingers twitched, recalling the surge of power when he'd used one unit of Dimensional Energy to stabilize himself after drinking the Dimensional Fluid at Jadyn's Rehabilitation Center. The memory of the intense 3-on-3 game with his teammate lingered in his aching muscles. Now, the emotionless voice of the Analyst mode echoed in his consciousness: "To stabilize your current condition, you must expend another unit of Dimensional Energy."
