The translucent window-like game remained open in front of me.

I can't believe that I am experiencing an awakening process right now!

I had heard about the awakening process in the news before. The process was said to be triggered by certain things. The most common case was in a live-death situation, some because of a certain talent and some because of a high level of training. 

Those were the more common triggers for an awakening process to happen.

But I also ever heard before that some awakening could be triggered by coming into contact with items that contain a lot of Aether level or they would refer to it as an Artifact. This kind of situation was also one of exploitable actions, as they would resell these artifacts to a lot of people, as they might have a dream to be an awakener.

Who would have known that one day, I would also be an awakener because of an item, let alone become one of them because of my mom's note.

They said that after the awakening process happened, the human would experience an improvement in the foundational state of their being. Especially in the ability for aether sensitivity in people with a higher rank. The higher the rank was, the more sensitive they were to the aether. 

But, I didn't experience anything different besides the appearance of the windows. Maybe I could check the status like what they had said on the internet.

"Status!" I said to the thin air in front of me.

Then the window was replaced with a new one that was even longer and bigger than the previous one, as it held more information.

Ah, was it because of my awakening related to Mom's hopes and dreams about tea and the tea shop?

As I was thinking about the awakened job that I got, a new window appeared again in front of me.

The window was said to be a quest window and mentioned the initiation quest.

What is an initiation quest?

I never heard of this before, or maybe the information was just undisclosed to the public.

When I paid more attention to it, underneath the status window that was still open there were 2 symbols. 

I clicked on one of them with a symbol that resembled a networking chat. Turns out it opened into an awakeners' forum.

I opened the top post on it. It was written by 'Admin'. As I was curious, I continued to read them.

It mentioned that the forum was created by the power of aether, so it was exclusive only to awakeners. I closed the post and tried to find any information about the initiation quest.

Based on what was written in the post, it was a quest for a newly awakener. They were created to help the newbie adjust their body to their new condition and ability. So this quest was very fundamental for us.

Some posts also talked about what would happen if the quest was not fulfilled within the given time. Some shared that they got teleported to a random-rank dungeon. The one that could share the information obviously got teleported to a low-rank dungeon, so they were able to survive. But some were not that fortunate. The others believe they got teleported to a high-ranking dungeon and were never able to come out of it.

After I got the information about how crucial the quest was and the severe punishment if it was not fulfilled, I closed the forum and focused more on the quest window.

When I read over the objectives, it was clear that this quest focused solely on the topic that was related to my awakened job. So I needed to open a tea shop and sell tea to 100 customers. 

I wondered what was the (?) symbol in the corner, so I clicked it. Turns out, it was some detailed explanation of the objectives I had. 

Very convenient I guess. 

The detailed explanation mentioned that the shop could be anywhere and any size as long as it was a shop that catered especially for tea. The tea that was needed to be sold could be any type of tea as long as it was brewed using the [Tea Brewing] skill. 

Skill, huh…

After finishing reading the explanation, I closed the window and called out the skill window.

So I only had 2 skills and both of them obviously sounded like non-combat skills. I clicked on the first skill.

I still couldn't believe that I was an awakener…

Maybe this was the way Mom bestowed me with her little dreams and wishes. 

But no matter what it was, just like what I had vowed after coming out of that nightmarish dungeon. I would live my life to the fullest and follow what fate had planned for me.
