"I'm Quinn, Quinn Voidspace." Quinn said looking strangely disappointed.
"Oh, you're the second on the rankings" Zeras said with familiarity. He could remember the name Quinn Voidspace was just below his on the rankings.
"Yes, I am." Quinn replied in a prideful tone.
Seeing Quin's prideful expression as if he did something noteworthy by ranking second, Zeras couldn't help but ask
"What's the rankings all about anyway, does it really matter much." ViiSiit n𝒐velb𝒊/n(.)c/(𝒐)m for l𝒂test 𝒏𝒐vels
"You bet. The rankings is very important in the EIA. In the EIA, everything is bought with points and the more points you have, the better off you're.
It never hurts to be rich does it. You have to buy resources like Mana cultivation manuals, Mana cores, access to different cultivation worlds etc It never ends." "Anyway what was your trial about. Seeing you're first on the rankings, either you have one shitty luck during the trial or you really are one tough roach." Triton said to him, his eyes shining in curiosity.
"My trial. There's nothing special about it. Just trying to fight for the position of king in one ancient world, getting into skirmishes here and there and some things like that. It's actually a really great experience and not that hard. What about yours?"
"Mine? It was tough as hell. I was thrown in the middle of a racial war to act as an army general of the good sides. You know the good sides forces in majority of all scenerio are usually weak, and this one was no different. It was a tough war, but my sides won in the end." Quinn replied, as if it was nothing but Zeras know it wasn't as simple as that.
Acting as the general of a weak force in a war and winning in the end. He knew there was more to Quinn than he was letting on.
"What department will you be joining in the EIA, Zeras." "Department?"
"Yes department. Wow. Seriously, don't tell me you didn't make any research before coming here." Triton asked shocked as he noticed there was something off about the questions Zeras was asking. To him, they were normal information, but Zeras did seem to have a single clue.
"To be honest. I don't." Zeras replied truthfully, with Quinn understanding his predicament, the he could help him out in knowing more about the EIA.
"Well there are different departments in the EIA. It's like a huge university except more inclined to training Gene Awakeners. Since there're are many type of genes, then it's sure some won't focus on battle.
Examples are like a person with the Curing Hand gene or the Elvian races known for their powerful healing abilities. Then they'll attend the Health class while those like the diamond or dragon races or humans with attack type genes will focus more on the battle classes.
There are tons of different classes in the EIA like research, Weapon making, battle ship engineering, Infiltration classes, Dimensional travel classetc." Quinn answered listing all the classes he could remember.
"Well if there'll be a class I might choose based on my gene then I think it's the combat class." Zeras said absentmindedly. While his Absolute Morph Gene leans towards Infiltration and spying, it's actually very powerful in it's combat abilities. Besides his Chaos Devourer gene also focuses on combat so the combat class looked like it was perfectly tailored for him.
"Guess we're in on the same class then." Quinn said as his own gene also focuses mostly on combat.
"So what's the deal about the Dragon race and the Diamond race." Zeras asked Quinn. He was a little bit curious when Quinn mentioned about them focusing mostly on attacks.
"The Diamond race are pretty special race in that their entire body is covered in diamond." Quinn said pointing out in the distance where a being from the diamond race could be seen.
Zeras looked at the figure which was in every way masculine and covered in blue coloured diamond scales. He stood at an height of about 1.9 meters, and was discussing with other groups.
"They are very strong due to their diamond skin which is almost impervious to anything. Their attack power is also very frightening. It'll take a human with a C-grade gene at the Late Star rank stage to fight equally with a diamond race expert at the same stage." As for the dragon race, although they look human. They can change to powerful beasts known as dragon." Quinn said pointing into the distance where a young man with a golden hair could be seen.
He was in every way human and maybe his strange golden hair and his snake-like eyes could give someone a clue, but it'll still be hard to distinguish between him and a normal human.
"In this humanoid state, they can only exert mostly 50% of their strength but once they transform into their dragon form, then they'll be true monsters.
They're are also very defensive of their race. I'll advise you to avoid getting in trouble with them, but they are actually friendly anyway. It's not bad to make friends with them." Quinn said as they both looked at the young man when he suddenly raised his head and stared at them, before a small smile appeared on his face.
Zeras stood there shocked speechless, it was as if the young man could sense them staring at him.
"That some serious perception." Zeras said under his breath.
"Pretty cool right?" Quinn asked before erupting into a loud laughter.
The duo engaged in small talks as Zeras finally came to understand a little about Quinn. If one thing was sure, then Quinn must have some really great background as he knew almost everything about the other races and the EIA.
A voice suddenly rang out through the hall interrupting their discussion.
"We have now arrived at the EIA training base. Cadets are now advised to prepare for disembarkation."
"We're here, Zeras..." Quinn said his voice quivering due to happiness.
Golden Tickets and Powerstones are greatly appreciated. Don't forget to keep those powerstones coming. Besides I noticed the powerstones reached 100 last week on Sunday, but this weak it's already 100+ at only on Friday. This is great improvement guys.
Let's keep going and we'll soon be on the rankings too.
