(My POV)
"Let's see where I am," I said. A notification appeared on the screen of my Rotom Phone, asking whether to enable Rotom AI. It offered two modes: semi and full AI. I selected semi-AI, preferring not to have it active all the time. With semi-AI, I could command it as needed, and it would run its functions accordingly.
"Rotom, where am I?" I asked the phone, which began floating in front of me, displaying its map function.
{Sir is in the woods near Viridian City, about 4 km from the city} the Rotom Phone replied.
Ok, that's fine, but I don't want to be near Viridian City right now. I have a precious Pseudo-Legendary, and a Shiny one at that. I'm not powerful enough yet; I need to train myself and Beldum to become stronger. My 10x faster growth talent will be very handy for this. Let's see… how about I head towards Pallet Town and train along the way? It should be near Viridian City, as shown in the TV series.
"Rotom what's the distance from here to pallet town" I asked Rotom to which it immediately answered and shown on its display.
{Sir It's about 16 Km from this point on, it may increase depending on the route taken.}
I looked at the screen and saw it showed three routes to Pallet Town. The shortest was a 16 km plain road designed for civilian safety, while the other two went through grasslands. I decided to take one of the grassland routes. Following the Rotom Phone's instructions, I headed out.
Along the way, I instructed Beldum to use Confusion to control the leaves and pebbles, helping it to use the move with more proficiency and get acquainted with its Mind Forge talent. My talent, already applied to Beldum, would make this training easier and more effective.
After 10 minutes of walking, I exited the secluded area. Along the way, I noticed rustling in the bushes. Using Psychic, I detected a female Rattata with its babies watching me warily. I decided not to battle her, as I didn't want to disturb them.
Additionally, I didn't have any potions to treat any injured Pokémon, so fighting wasn't an option. I need to search for berries that can be used for treating my Pokémon.
After reaching the route to Pallet Town, I noticed several Pidgeys, Taillows, and a few Starly flying overhead under the sunny sky. This made me realize that a region isn't limited to its native Pokémon. There can be Pokémon from different regions as well, as they travel, lay eggs, and mate with others that meet their criteria. Though fewer compared to the native Pokémon, these visitors add to the region's diversity.
I searched my backpack again and found a water bottle in one pouch, a few potions and two super potions in another, along with the PokéBlocks given by the system. I sighed in relief; I no longer had to desperately search for berries or water, as my throat was already dry.
"Pidd~Pidgeyy!" I heard a sound from a tree nearby. Looking up, I noticed a Pidgey eyeing my backpack, prompting a digitalized golden panel to appear in front of me.
Pidgey
Level: 6 (rookie)
Type: Normal/Flying
Abilities: Keen Eye,
Gender: Male
Character: Jolly
IVs: HP 10, Attack 11, Defense 03, Sp. Atk 03, Sp. Def 04, Speed 18
Potential: Beginner
Skills: Tackle (beginner), Sand Attack (beginner)
Tip: Just your ordinary pidgey nothing special
it's just perfect for my Beldum to train its moves while battling him.
Now beldum lets win our first battle, I mentally commanded it as he is already linked with my psychic.
As Beldum moved towards the Pidgey, it focused its psychic energy and unleashed Confusion. The psychic waves enveloped the Pidgey, gently controlling its movements, before forcefully slamming it into a nearby tree. Before the Pidgey could recover, Beldum teleported with a flash of light and reappeared behind it, swiftly charging forward with a Tackle. The impact was swift and decisive, sending the Pidgey tumbling across the ground, unable to react in time, knocking it completely as circles appeared in it eyes.
Anyway, it doesn't matter to me how circles appeared; maybe it's one of the world's laws. Let's move forward to our destination.
