Chapter 20 You Lose

The other man threw a fist at Klaus, and just as it was about to touch Klaus's body, Klaus parried it with his palm, which, in turn, twisted his opponent's wrist downward with a sound akin to bone breaking, and the man named Robin screamed in pain.

Klaus picked up Emily and placed her on the bar, and he gently said to her, "Turn around, because the next scene will make you uncomfortable."

Emily nodded obediently, and Klaus left her to resume the struggle. By this time, it was evident that the two men on the opposite side did not know Klaus's real identity, but after the brief exchange that had just taken place, they had discerned his strength. Just as they were hesitating to retreat, Klaus stood before them.

"It's not over yet." Klaus's tone was cold, and his aura of determination suggested he meant more than just teaching them a lesson.

The two scoundrels looked at each other, and the next second, both of them were throwing their fists at Klaus.

Their fists were fierce, and every blow filled the air with the sound of shattering impacts. Klaus dodged their blows with dexterity, his body weaving through the shadows cast by their fists like a gust of wind.

There was no panic on Klaus's face as his arms moved gracefully through the air, each parry precise. His leg muscles were taut, ready to strike back.

His punches were lightning-quick and accurate, sending his opponents reeling back in pain with each blow.

Klaus's counter-attack put the opposition under pressure like never before. A look of horror began to creep into their eyes, and their movements became awkward and sluggish.

Klaus took advantage of the situation to launch a more violent attack, his fists slicing through the air like bolts of lightning, quickly and accurately striking the vital points of his opponents.

Emily, sitting at the bar, caught, out of the corner of her eye, the image of Klaus fighting. His attack came so fast, accompanied by the sound of shattering glass, the clashing of fists, and screams.

The entire battle lasted only a few minutes, and a strong smell of blood permeated the surroundings. The waiter, who had been standing at the bar, had already run to inform the proprietor. When the waiter arrived with the proprietor, Emily found that the proprietor of the bar was the man who had been shouting at her in the fitting room.

"It's you, woman, again."

Seeing Emily sitting at the bar, the red-bearded man concluded that the fight must have been started by the snatching of a woman and took his anger out on Emily.

"You damn woman!" The next second, the red-bearded man was trying to drag Emily off the bar, but Klaus had him by the wrist before he could.

The red-bearded man looked at Klaus, whom he recognized at once, and almost fell to his knees in terror.

"Alpha... Klaus." The red-bearded man's eyes were filled with fear. "Why, why are you here?"

"Why am I here?" Klaus twisted the wrist of the red-bearded man, who immediately showed signs of pain and had to step aside.

"No, I mean..." The red-bearded man hurriedly explained, "I am honored by your presence. Is there anything I can do for you?"

Klaus released his hand, and the red-bearded man immediately bowed his head and stood respectfully to one side, looking flustered and afraid to say more.

"Clean up the bodies of these two men," Klaus's voice was deep and commanding. "I think you know what to do next."

"Yes, sir."

Klaus then approached Emily and picked her up from the bar, whispering to her, "It's game over."

Klaus then walked out of the bar with Emily. At this moment, however, a man with golden hair was standing by the railing of the second floor, and he could see everything that had just taken place clearly.

"Oh, Klaus, you have exposed your weakness so easily."

A sinister smile played around the man's mouth, and he raised his glass and took a sip.

Hotel

On the way back to the hotel, Klaus remained silent, much to Emily's dismay. She had not expected to cause such an incident and assumed Klaus was angry and not speaking to her.

Klaus opened the door, and Emily followed him into the room. As the door closed behind them, Klaus suddenly turned, placing a hand against the door and pressing his body close to Emily's.

Emily leaned back against the door, surprised by the suddenness of Klaus's action, and gazed at him in amazement.

"You've lost," Klaus whispered in her ear. "Do you remember what the loser does?"

What did the loser do? Emily froze for a few seconds, trying to recall the answer to the question.

But she had forgotten.

"Looks like you didn't take my words to heart," Klaus said, his hand moving to Emily's waist. As his hand brushed against her skin, Emily's body instinctively bent towards him.

She fell into Klaus's arms, and he embraced her tightly.

She felt the warmth of his body and the distinctive scent of tobacco mixed with a faint hint of blood.

Is he hurt?

Emily immediately scanned Klaus's body and noticed a dark red bloodstain on his shirt.
