"Unfortunately, they are dating and they seem pretty close. Xavier loves her," said Ezekiel. 

He might have seen their interaction only once, but what he'd seen was enough to prove to him that his former best friend was in love with his little sister. 

"Maybe he knew she was Ava and kept her away from us on purpose," Tracie chimed in from out of nowhere. 

Both Jeffrey and Ezekiel turned their heads to stare at her. She was barefoot which was why they hadn't heard her footsteps. 

"But also, now that Ava is found? What are you going to do? Don't tell me you will bring her here to live with us?" She wondered, a hint of disdain evident in her tone. 

"What if she is? Do you have a problem with that, Tracie?" Ezekiel questioned her with a glare and she responded by glaring back at him.
