"So… you're packing to move back already?" Aiden asked, a tiny whine in his voice. Isaac tutted at him.
"Of course she is. Were you expecting her to stay with us forever?" He chided. "Now stop sulking at the corner and help her pack."
"There's no need for that," Amelia said hastily. "I didn't bring a lot to begin with, and he's injured!"
Her eyes stared at his bandaged knuckles. Isaac had treated them at home with iodine and wrapped them up himself, citing that there was no lasting harm done. Aiden would be right as rain in a few days.
