Turning his attention to another officer, Rajesh asked, "What about the research facility? How far has the progress been on the recovered computer components from Evan's lab?" 

The officer straightened, visibly relieved to report a topic that was at least somewhat under control. "The team has made significant progress, sir. They've been working around the clock to analyze the quantum processing chip and are developing a new power distribution system to stabilize its energy needs. Initial tests have shown promise, but they did encounter a setback during the last test run."

Rajesh's interest piqued. "What kind of setback?" 

"The chip drew more power than we had expected, causing a temporary system failure. However, the engineers are confident that they can optimize it to harness its capabilities fully," the officer explained, confidence returning to his voice.
