Ch 92: Late night acquaintances

Rika placed a hand over her eyes to stop the light from filtering into her eyes. But she did not realise she had fallen asleep with the puppy playing with her.

She woke up when Charon frantically knocked on her door to call her down for dinner.

Only fifteen minutes had passed since Rika closed her eyes, but it felt like an eternity had passed.

At the dining table, the dorm lady's smile greeted Rika. It was comforting to see that she was not being judged by someone despite the many issues she had to deal with.

"Are you feeling better now, Rika? Does it feel better than before? If you are having any discomfort, tell us. We are here to help you out."

The dorm lady assured Rika.

The table showed signs of more than three people. Rika felt that the twins she had been informed about had arrived already. She remembered seeing them when she ran up the stairs to empty her stomach.
