It’s going to cost 100,000 jewels

We shuffled out of the restaurant, and once outside, I let out a breath I didn't realize I'd been holding. "Alright, let's talk here," I said, trying to regain my composure.

Lucy, Erza, Natsu, Gray, and Happy gathered around me, their faces still earnest and full of guilt. "So, about the repairs to my apartment," I began, trying to sound as calm as possible. "It's going to cost 100,000 jewels."

Natsu's eyes widened, and he immediately started nodding. "Yeah, yeah, we'll take care of it!"

Gray nodded too, crossing his arms. "Of course, we owe you that much."

But then Natsu shot Gray a look. "Wait a minute, it's your fault it got destroyed in the first place!"

Gray's face darkened as he glared back at Natsu. "My fault? You're the one who started the fire, flame-brain!"

"Oh, you wanna go, ice princess?" Natsu growled, flames flickering around his fists.

"Bring it on, hothead!" Gray retorted, ice forming around his hands.

Before I could intervene, they lunged at each other, crashing into the ground and rolling around in a flurry of punches, kicks, and magical outbursts. Passersby started to gather, watching the spectacle unfold with a mix of amusement and confusion.

Lucy facepalmed, clearly mortified. "Not again," she muttered under her breath.

I could feel my face turning red as the crowd around us grew. "Guys, please, this isn't helping!"

Erza stepped forward, her eyes narrowing dangerously. "Enough!" she bellowed.

In a blur of motion, she grabbed both Natsu and Gray by their collars and slammed their heads together with a resounding thud. They both collapsed to the ground, groaning in pain but finally still.

"You two are an embarrassment," Erza said sternly, her grip on their collars tightening as she held them up like misbehaving kittens. "This is not how we solve problems."

Natsu and Gray mumbled apologies, their heads hanging in shame.

Lucy sighed, stepping forward. "We're really sorry, Jade. We'll make sure the repairs are taken care of, right guys?"

"Yeah," Natsu grumbled, rubbing his sore head.

"Definitely," Gray added, wincing.

Happy fluttered down to land on Natsu's shoulder. "Aye, we'll handle it, Jade. Don't worry."

I couldn't help but smile, despite the chaos. "Thanks, everyone. I appreciate it. Just... try not to destroy anything else in the process, okay?"

"We'll do our best," Lucy said with a sheepish grin.

Erza finally released Natsu and Gray, who stumbled to their feet, still glaring at each other but too intimidated by Erza to start another fight. "Let's get moving," she commanded, and they obediently followed her lead.

As they walked away, I shook my head in disbelief. Being a part of Fairy Tail was certainly never boring. I glanced around at the onlookers, who were now dispersing with a mix of disappointment and amusement, and couldn't help but laugh.

With the promise of my apartment being fixed, I felt a weight lift off my shoulders. I headed back inside to finish my meal, hoping that the rest of the day would be a bit more peaceful. As I took my seat, I found myself thinking that despite their antics, I wouldn't trade my guildmates for anything in the world.

After finishing my meal, I paid the bill and prepared to head to the guild. The streets of Magnolia were lively as usual, with the hustle and bustle of people going about their day. It wasn't long before I arrived at the Fairy Tail guild hall, its familiar boisterousness greeting me warmly.

Inside, I spotted Gajeel and Juvia near the mission board. I made my way over to them, smiling. "Hey, you two. Anything interesting on the board today?"

Gajeel grunted, still scanning the missions. "Not much. Just the usual stuff. How was your meal?"

"Good, until Natsu and Gray turned it into a spectacle," I replied with a chuckle.

Juvia giggled. "That sounds like them. Did you sort out the apartment situation?"

"Yes, they've agreed to cover the cost," I said, glancing at the mission board. "I just hope they don't cause more trouble in the process."

As we were looking through the available missions, a sudden shout rang out across the hall. "Jade!"

Before I could react, I felt someone tackle me into a hug. I stumbled back, barely keeping my balance. The entire guild turned to watch the scene unfold.

I looked down at the person clinging to me. She was a petite girl, maybe around 18 years old, with short, bright pink hair and sparkling blue eyes. She wore a frilly, lavender dress adorned with ribbons and bows. Her grip was surprisingly strong for someone her size.

"Who are you?" I asked, bewildered. "Please, let go!"

The girl looked up at me with an adoring expression. "It's me, Lily! You promised you'd be my girlfriend!"

I glanced at Gajeel, thinking this might be one of his pranks, but even he looked confused. "Uh, Jade, I have no idea who this is," he said.

"Lily, I'm sorry, but I don't remember making any promises," I said, trying to gently pry her off.

Lily tightened her hold. "But you did! Three years ago! Look, I have proof!"

She pulled out a lacrima and activated it. An image appeared, showing me—well, the previous owner of this body—smiling and making a pinky promise with a younger Lily.

Gajeel let out a low whistle. "Well, that explains it."

Juvia looked at me, eyes wide. "Jade, you didn't tell us you had a fan club."

I felt my face heat up. "I—I didn't know! This must have been before I... uh, before I changed."

Lily's eyes sparkled with hope. "See? You promised! You said you'd be my girlfriend when I grew up!"

Trying to keep my composure, I took a deep breath. "Lily, I'm really sorry. I honestly don't remember making that promise. Things have changed a lot since then."
