Qin Sisi heard something had happened at home and immediately rushed back, only to relax after seeing that her brother and mother were both safe and sound.
"Brother, what's going on? Why the urgency?" Qin Sisi asked.
"Nothing, I just missed you and wanted the family to gather for a meal," Qin Jiang smiled. "Today, your brother will cook personally."
"Cut it out!" Qin Sisi rolled her eyes disdainfully, "Your 'dark cuisine' is so bad that even dogs wouldn't eat it!"
The thought of the food Qin Jiang made gave her goosebumps.
"Is it really that bad?" A frustrated Qin Jiang asked, feeling that what he made was quite decent.
"Everyone has a filter for the food they make themselves," Qin Sisi criticized.
"You always think it's delicious, but once it gets into someone else's mouth, it changes flavor."
Qin Jiang felt embarrassed being implied as such by Qin Sisi.
"I'll do the cooking—" Qin Sisi readily stepped into the kitchen.
After the meal.
Qin Jiang saw Xu Muge off.
