Chapter 16 CHALLENGE

TYLER’S POV

“I’m going, Tyler, whether you like it or not!” Maxine said I sat beside her inside the dance practice room.

It was my vacant period and I decided to visit her on her ballroom practice and talked to her seriously.

“Fine. You go and we’re done!” I stood up but before I could leave, I felt her hand grip on my wrist.

“Tyler please…Don’t this to me. If you really love me, you’ll support me in my dreams. You’ll be happy with me.” she begged, her eyes now pooling with tears. “This is the moment I’ve been waiting for.”

“If you love me, don’t go. As simple as that, Maxine. I couldn’t stay in a long distance relationship, you know that! And you’re leaving for 5 months, for fuck’s sake!” I hissed.

I was still hoping that she would consider our relationship, that she would change her mind and decided to not leave me. But my hopes were crashed when I felt her grip loosened.

“I’m sorry, Tyler.” She looked down and turned her back on me.
