The bridge

Apparently, this cement factory had a low production but Virtya planned to build a mega cement plant that would produce 10,000 bags of cement per day but that would be in the future when he had already built the steam engine or invented the electricity.

After all, the turbine in place could not ensure the activity of a mega cement plant like that one and Virtya could not increase the output power of the turbine anymore because the current turbine already occupied the whole waterfall. He would just have to work with this one.

Virtya allowed for the carriages of big merchants like Katya to pass and after they had all passed him, the knights guided Virtya to his carriage, which followed behind the merchants.

The knights didn't allow anyone else to cross the bridge which led to a commotion as the people demanded to be allowed to buy the cement. The commotion was almost overwhelming the knights and it was only the coming of Bogdan that saved them as Bogdan showed these low tier merchants where to buy their cement. These low tier merchants would have to buy cement from the apartment blocks where it was previously kept for the big merchants. Cement would be transported from the plant to that apartment block.

"We want to go into the cement factory and see how you manufacture this powder. We are not going anywhere until you allow us in!" A section of local natives, merchants and Litkesh merchants hollered obstinately. Nadya was among this group as her main aim was to see how this cement was manufactured but unfortunately, she was among the merchants who were not allowed access to the cement factory.

"I am sorry. Today is a special day of opening the cement factory. We will arrange a day for you guys to tour around the cement plant but you will have to be in a professional group to be allowed to tour this place, not just anyone would be allowed in. I hope you'll understand but as for now, you will have to buy the cement from those flats. Thank you everyone for your visit." Bogdan guided the annoying people who wanted to trouble this important day.

Virtya was not going to make the cement plant an unreachable place, only a few knights would be stationed there to prevent trouble makers from going inside and even if any stranger successfully got themselves inside, there was nothing important to view in there and one could not come up with the manufacturing process of cement by just visiting the plant, they would have to be accompanied by one of the workers who would be telling them what was what. To tour this plant, one would have to apply before they were accepted and it would only be professionals and a few groups that would be allowed to tour like the blacksmiths, merchant associations, students, construction workers and more.

Anyway, while crossing the bridge, the merchants from Litkesh could not help but be awed by this structure. It was simply otherworldly and surreal. The bridge itself was wide enough to allow three mundane carriages to pass side by side (three lanes) and it had two ways for the coming in and going. These two ways were separated to each other by reinforced concrete blocks and strong steel railings.

Just viewing everything, made the merchants from Litkesh to respect and praise the technological advancement of Azuhai kingdom. 

Certainly, this bridge was something that could only be seen in their dreams.

"King Virtya is a genius. Something like this structure is impossible for the Litkesh kingdom to make... Unless we befriend the Azuhai kingdom." One of the merchants said.

"I am planning to relocate to Azuhai kingdom. I will build a tall building like the one we have just seen as my trade headquarters. You guys will be visiting me in Whiten in the future." Another chubby merchant said.

Anyway, the merchants went to do their transactions at the cement plant while Virtya branched to the glass plant construction site.

He had to be there to oversee the construction of crucial phases like the melt tank and the combustion chambers.

'When I complete constructing the glass factory, I will then start preparing to fabricate the steam engine.' Virtya thought.
